Barbarian/Berserker [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-06, 03:28 PM Ok. I am playing a berserker in a campaign that starts tomorrow, I know i want to take some levels in Frenzied Berserker, being that its probably my favorite of all the PrCs. However, i have done straight FB before, and i want to throw something new in the mix. The last FB i played was a charger, so Id like to stay away from that. Now all that said what other good classes/PrCs are there for Human Berserkers? I have been looking through my book sand i really dont see many that are viable. I'm not looking for something broken, I just want something effective.

01-18-06, 04:02 PM I dont know if your DM allows Sword and Fist, but in that book you got Tribal Protector that gives you 1 bonus feat, tribal enemy (sort of favoured enemy) and one extra attack at your highest bonus with a -2 to the other attacks in only 2 levels.

This is very nice since it would most likely stack with the extra attack from Frenzy.

My barbarian is going for the Barbarian 9/Fighter 4/Frenzied Berserkser 5/Tribal Protector 2 path.

01-18-06, 04:10 PM I think Bear Warrior (maybe upto level 5) would be a nice addition and give you a few new options.

If you are playing in an evil campaign, then I don't know why any fighter type wouldn't want levels Disciple of Dispater (you didn't ask for broken but that dosn't mean you won't get it). Iron Power + Improved Crit = silly damage.

01-18-06, 07:05 PM Thanks ill look into the tribal protector route. If any more things pop up feel free, i still have a while before hes up to PrC level.

I also recommend the feat Instantaneous Rage from Complete Warrior.
