| BoonieDog12-22-05, 03:17 AM | I've been playing D&D for a few years and have, so far, done pretty well with all of the character concepts I've had. However, this latest one has me in a bit of a bind. So now the info: - Books Available: "Races" Series (ie, Races of Destiny, etc), "Complete" Series (ie, Complete Adventurer), Corebooks, BoED, Planar Handbook, Miniatures Handbook, Psionics Handbooks, and Unearthed Arcana Traits, Flaws, and Class Variants. -Basic Concept: The basic idea I have is for a character that doesn't seem threatening at first, but is designed to take out ranged combatants (spell casters and archers mainly). With the basic build I have so far, at level 3 he is capable of disapearing, charging 110ft, and attacking in one move. I haven't decided on stats yet, my group's using 32 point buy. As far as the rest of the build is concerned, I'm not sure of how to progress in a manner that won't leave my character lacking on the battlefield. I've basically thought of three ideas on how to finish it: Variant Fighter or Rouge to build up the sneak attack for massive damage on the invisible charge. Regular Fighter with feats for increasing damage, but leave my AC in shambles Regular Fighter with feats for increasing AC, but leaves me with mediocre damage. -Build To-Date: Human Barbarian 1/Ninja 2/?? 1 Barbarian (Fast Movement, Rage), Dash, Power Attack 2 Ninja 3 Ninja (Ghost Step), Reckless Charge 4 ???? Any ideas on where to go from here would be appreciated. |
