Bard builds involving the dirgesinger [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-12-06, 01:35 AM so basically me and some friends are doing the extremes of necromancy for the next campaign.

1 friend is going wizard with unearthed arcana necromancer variant so uber "familiar"

1 friend is going deathboudn cleric for our "army"

and well i decided to do something unique. The dirgesinger bard seemed fun rather than sporting the "death knight" type role.

I was wondering if anybody had any good straight bard builds that only uses the dirgesinger prc ?

Also their final ability i know they can control a dead opponent (... or ally ;) ) with all of its abilities and what not... is there a instrument that can play on its own so when my character needs to sleep i can keep this raised creature?

Also what other feats and suggestions do you guys recommend?

Any and all help would be MOST appreciated. (Btw campaign is level 6, stats are roll 4d6 drop lowest, 7 times drop lowest, i rolled 17,16,15,15,15,13)

07-12-06, 04:20 AM I dont have a build but in one group I DMd I had an evil elven Bard named Reqium, had the feat reqium, was the head of an assassins guild called the Notes of Reqium, and used many undead...

When dirgsinger came out I decided to ressurect him so he can take levels in it...

Basically I think Reqium is the coolest name for a bard ever.. ever

07-13-06, 03:21 AM I dont have a build but in one group I DMd I had an evil elven Bard named Reqium, had the feat reqium, was the head of an assassins guild called the Notes of Reqium, and used many undead...

When dirgsinger came out I decided to ressurect him so he can take levels in it...

Basically I think Reqium is the coolest name for a bard ever.. ever

then you should probably know its spelt Requiem... ;)
