PheonixInferno wasn't trying to be rude. What he was saying is that Taking a level of bard is far from an optimal choice. If there are specific reasons for taking a level of bard perhaps there are other ways of satisfying them. So why do you wan't to take a level of bard?

This guy should be designated the CO Boards Comedian. :D

As for the cantrips, Clerics have Read Magic, Detect Magic, and Light already on their spell list. There is really no reason to use any other cantrip besides those past level 2.

i disagree. i think the question we really need to be asking is why he's taking a levil in Bard. that way, we can figure out what would fit his request best.
