Has anyone tried this? I'm going to for a 10th level campaign, and I'm looking for advice on how to make it work...

Try using the hunter druid and wilderness feat rogue (both from unearthed arcana) with bard in fochlucan lyrist build.

same except normal paladin, just take devoted performer for the same effect if a paladin of freedom if it matters...

Or just be neutral good and replace those paladin levels with Soldier of Light levels! More bang for the buck, too.

UA isn't allowed (we abused it once, and are DM will litterally go and sit in a corner and stay there until we stop asking to use it...) and this isn't going as well as I had planned, so don't bother, I'll probably just go Bard/Virtuoso or Bard/Dirgesinger...

Have you considered bard/ranger/fochlucan lyrist? Bard 2/Ranger 9/Fochlucan Lyrist 9 is odd, but not totally ineffectual. (Your DM will have to allow you to learn Druidic from another source, but since aforesaid build isn't really about abusing the game, you might be able to convince them.)
