| Raggart_Knug02-15-05, 10:58 PM | Greetings, all. I am a fairly new poster to these boards so please be kind. Thank any of you in advance for your help and input. I am planning out the progression for my Living Greyhawk bard for the next few levels with the ultimate goal of entering the Sublime Chord prestige class after 10th level. My skill points are pretty much locked through 10th level in order to qualify for the prestige class and keep my Diplomacy and Perform maxed out. Obviously, my past character choices are locked, and my sources are limited to the Core rulebooks and the Complete series (with sime minor exceptions). No Forgotten Realms choices. In my design I have tried to create a character that excels in social situations, but otherwise serves as the ultimate generalist. Right now I'm looking for suggestions for feats and spell selections. My current character stats are as follows: Race: High Elf Class: Bard 4 Str: 10 Dex: 16 Con: 10 Int: 14 Wis: 8 Cha: 17 (19 w/Cloak of Charisma) Skills (Bonus/Ranks): Bluff +11/7 Diplomacy +17/7 Gather Information +9/5 Knowledge (History) +7/5 Knowledge (Nobility/Royalty) +7/5 Listen +6/5 Perform (Sing) +11/7 Speak Language +3 Tumble +8/5 Feats: Improved Initiative Weapon Finesse Spells Known: 0: Dancing Lights, Daze, Detect Magic, Ghost Sound, Mage Hand, Prestidigitation 1st: Cure Light Wounds, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, Undetectable Alignment 2nd: Glitterdust, Invisibility Right now I'm only planning through 10th level, because my options open up from that point forward (and as infrequently as I can play, that looks pretty far away). So my primary concerns are what feats I should select at 6th and 9th level, and what spells should I be adding to my list (I'll get one 1st level spell, 2 2nd level spells, 4 3rd level spells, and 2 5th level spells by 10th level). However, I'll take any other advice that you may offer. Thanks! |
