Change out bard 7 for mindbender 1. Telepathy is fun. And then get the Mindsight feat. I think it's in LoM.

I wouldn't bother spending 2 feats on medium proficiency and armoured caster. Just have a decent Dex.

If you're planning on using your Eldritch Blast then Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot are almost mandatory.

I quite like Quicken SLA (Flee the Scene) - it comes in very handy.

Practiced Spellcaster is a very good idea. It doesn't actually matter which one you take it for since Sublime Chord adds to Bard CL anyway.

Other feats will depend what you want to do with Sublime Chord spells. Extend Spell is normally useful.

Words of Creation if you're planning on using Inspire Courage. In which case probably Melodic Casting as well.

OK I like the idea of dropping the seventh level of bard for 1 level of a PrC with +1 caster level at first level, and a cool ability like the mindbender any other ideas out there

It would help if you gave the online community your stats and what your goal is for this character you would probably get a more positive response.

Just a tip. Knowledge is power.

If you're going to be using some blasting power, as well as dipping so many levels in different classes/prc's you might have a hard time hitting things with your blast since you have a low DEX and will have a low BAB.

Is Str and Int so important that you need a 14/16? Why not (Str 12) and (Int 14) and give those 4 pts to your DEX.

Also what do you plan to take as your Invocations?

Basically all your invocations are based on you being very far away from the enemy, and/or the ability to get away. Besides it seems you'll be taking Quicken Spell like ability (Flee the scene).

Str doesn't seem to be so important, and with a low BAB from dipping classes, your +2 str bonus at 14 vs. +1 at 12 doesn't seem to do anything for you accept allow you carry all that gold you'll be hording for equipment. The higher dex will help your reflex saves, your ranged attacks, your AC, initiative etc.

No precise shot?
Extra Invocation?

If you're still looking to pick up medium armor proficiency, why not take a 1-level Marshal dip? Then you can take the battlecaster feat and be able to cast spells and invocations in your mithral full plate?
