What do you guys think of the battle medic?

It ain't bad, especially the aid kicker. A mass cure spell could really boost up a group of elite troops following you. If you want pure healing, however, RSoP is better, and has undead slaying effects too.

Plus, the iconic combat medic is cute.

I like the idea of spontaneous Heal.

Wizard 5 / Harper Mage 1 / Combat Medic 5 / Loremaster 1 / Magelord 8

I just recently put this build together for a friend of mine. It's a Cleric in a Wizard's body. In light of this thread's theme, I thought it might be nice to share...

Feat prerequisites = Combat Casting, Dodge, Arcane Disciple: Healing (CompDiv), Imp. Initiative, Spell Mastery, Signature Spell, & WeapFocus: Ray. The Domain Spontaneity feat is optional. Loremaster at 12th level should give you a bonus feat if your INT starts at 20 due to being a Sun Elf. That bonus feat and your 12th level feat should give you all the feats mentioned above in order to allow access into Magelord at 13th level.

Your Evasion + 13 levels of REFL-friendly classes = One Fireball-proof Mage!

Magelord is a beast of a PrC to get into. And this option gives you a full 20 spellcaster levels without having to deal with Evasion being gleaned via Rogue-2 or other avenues.

Your 15th and 18th level feats should be Spell Mastery feats.

I have question - where's the healing coming from?

Snow savant's build gets healing from Arcane Disciple Healing.

That is a great build, Snow. Arcane Disciple (Heal) + Combat Medic 5 = High level Wizard who can sacrifice 6th level spells to spontaneously Heal. My mind is boggling at the idea. A Sorcerer could set up to cast their single Cure spell per spell level per day (as the Feat allows) but once they got to Sorcerer CL 12 all their 6th level and higher slots potentially become Heal spells, they don't even have to select Heal as one of their known spells. Not even required to have any healing spells on your known spell list except Cure Light Wounds, though you know you would probably slot one for every spell level for emergencies.

I'm not totally sure, but it seems like the kickers can be added to any Cure you cast - including from Wands. That seems useful, too.

There's also the matter of the feat reqs for Loremaster. Two of the three metamagic or item creation feats are met by wiz 5 (likely one being extend spell for H.M.) and H.M. meeting the skill focus (knowlege) req. This does leave one additional metamagic or item creation feat needed, however. It also looks to me like you were assuming the 5th level wizard feat would go to spell mastery. It would work with UA flaws, if one was into that.
