| krumthi02-08-07, 01:09 PM | Okay, here is an Idea that a couple of my guys in my party thought of. We are going to buy a bar/tavern and turn it into a mud wrestling pit. Now we're scouting everywhere to get the Ultimate Bar Wench. Here are the rules. Any Race. but has to be Female. No Player Classes. Use a 4d6 drop lowest role. Has to have some ranks in Profession Barmaid and Profession Mud Wrestler. No higher then 3rd level Must provide list of Equipment. No fighting to the death Only Entertainment Use your Imagination. [edit] No ECL or LA We're just having fun with this and trying to make a living off this for our characters, when we're not adventuring. So all in all have fun! :teach: |

| Vorlir02-08-07, 02:26 PM | see #5, limited to 3rd level already |
| jameswilliamogle02-08-07, 02:48 PM | That character had no class levels, I do believe :P anyways, I get the point. |
| Griff02-08-07, 03:47 PM | The Challenger, Astrid, Human Female, 6'4'' Str 18 Dex 13 Con 16 Int 10 Wis 12 cha 16 (used Olga's stats ;)) Expert 3, Hp 19, AC 14 (studded leather) Attack +6 unarmed, 1d3+4 (subdual) Grapple +14 Feats: Jotenbrud, Improved unarmed strike, Improved Grapple. | krumthi02-08-07, 04:20 PM | Donald_Cannith That is great! I appericate Olga, she's one of our "Tough" girls, Griff Astrid got some stuff going for her as well. There is one thing I don't know, but I am going to try to look it up. what is the Feat Jotenbrud? I haven't heard of it before. I am glad to say that we're going to have some great matches and some very happy customers! Keep them comming and all races with out LA are wanted and you can have as many as you want and we appericate it!! |
| jameswilliamogle02-08-07, 04:26 PM | Jotunbrud gives the equivalent of Powerful Build. Its a Faerun Regional feat for humans. Here's my rolls (its pretty crappy):12, 11, 5, 15, 14, 15 Grencha, the Manager Kobold, Expert 3 Str 7 Dex 17 Con 3 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 15 AC 15, HP 3 Feats Skill Focus: Diplomacy, Negotiator Important Skills and Modifiers Diplomacy +19, Sense Motive +6, Bluff +7, Intimidate -2, Kn: Nobility +7 No equipment necessary; she works the crowd, not the wrestlers! Her job is to work up the crowd, get bets going, and on occasion, take a chair to the back and collapse to the floor when she talks "down" to a wrestler (which she doesn't even have to fake!). Think of all those cheesey wrestling managers that the crowd just loved to hate :D. |
| krumthi02-08-07, 05:07 PM | That is pretty darn cool there James! Grencha, the Manager Kobold, Expert 3 Str 7 Dex 17 Con 3 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 15 AC 15, HP 3 Feats Skill Focus: Diplomacy, Negotiator Important Skills and Modifiers Diplomacy +19, Sense Motive +6, Bluff +7, Intimidate -2, Kn: Nobility +7 No equipment necessary; she works the crowd, not the wrestlers! Her job is to work up the crowd, get bets going, and on occasion, take a chair to the back and collapse to the floor when she talks "down" to a wrestler (which she doesn't even have to fake!). Think of all those cheesey wrestling managers that the crowd just loved to hate . That's not what we were looking for but PERFECT anyhow! that is an idea that we never had! I am going to use her! |
| krumthi02-08-07, 09:37 PM | edit double post |
| Alten_Freehands02-08-07, 11:59 PM | Alamina (Elf) Lv 3 expert Str 10 Dex 18 Con 10 Int 10 Wis 10 Cha 16 Ac: 14 Feats: Clever Wrestling, Improved Unarmed Strike Hp: 11 AB +3 Profession: Barmaid 6 Profession: Mudwrestling 6 Perform: Dancing 4 Tumble 5 Jump 5 Bluff 5 Escape artist 5 She's hot and flexible did I mention she's an elf. |
| Tempest Stormwind02-09-07, 12:44 AM | Am I the only one who thought of Rumble Roses (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumble_Roses) when I read this thread? ...I'm the only one here who's ever heard of that game in the first place, let alone played it, aren't I? *shrug* I'll see what I can come up with; I'm considering a halfling with ludicrous Dexterity who focuses on being a damn hard target to pin down (high Escape Artist, touch AC, Weapon Finese if I can manage it since it applies to things like unarmed strikes). Strictly speaking a kobold is more optimal (as last I checked, they had the opposite of Powerful Build, but I could be wrong there), but we haven't seen a halfling yet. |
| NoSix02-09-07, 12:54 AM | This is kinda off subject (It does have to do with bars though), did they get rid of "Alcohol Tollerance" In favor of "+x to resist toxins/poisens"? Or am I thinking of a different game. I seem to remeber that bards and dwarfs (to name a few) had this ability, and instead I read that dwarfs now get a +2 racial bonus to saves vs poisens, and bards have nothing of the sort. |
| Harkle02-09-07, 01:24 AM | I've come up with some great ways to kill your opponet as an unarmed level 3 NPC class, still working on non-lethal methods though. |
| Griff02-09-07, 01:24 AM | Yeah, Jotunbrud is a regional feat in races of faerun, Essentially means you've decended from giants. (i guess "jotunbrud" is a translation of "giant blood" or something) Its like powerful build lite, giving large size bonuses on opposed rolls. It also increases your base height and weight dramatically. (at a mere 6'4" Astrid is actually quite small for her family ;)) Earths embrace could be a good choice for her too... can we take flaws? |
| krumthi02-10-07, 03:04 AM | So far I am really enjoying all the wenches! we're still looking for at least one Halfling and one gnome and one Dwarven wench! so please keep the posts coming!!!! |
| Commx02-10-07, 03:12 AM | Why no LA? Otherwise you could have a nice Yuan-Ti lady shifting in a large snake during the fight, and I'm sure that's crowd-pleasing enough. ;) Edit: I just had an interesting idea for a Gnome, but I don't have enough time to work it out right now, so it will be put up later today. |
| ChristopherGroves02-10-07, 10:13 AM | Would shape soulmeld help this out? Mauling Gauntlets or Wreath of flame ...? |
| Iry02-10-07, 01:28 PM | Laralee "Rocketfist" Jones. Human Adept 3. Str:18 Dex:14 Con:14 Int:8 Wis:14 Cha:12 1st: Improved Unarmed Strike. 1st: Sudden Still Spell. 3rd: Extra Spell(Fist of Stone). Adept Spells, 0th: Touch of Fatigue x3. Adept Spells, 1st: Cure Light Wounds, Sleep, Fist of Stone. If the opponent gets the drop on her before she can cast her spells, she may have to waste the time casting Stilled Sleep on her first round, back away and then cast Fist of Stone followed by Touch of Fatigue until it sticks then engaging the grapple. Otherwise she saves the Sudden Still for Cure Light Wounds and wades into the enemy grapples expectantly! |
| Commx02-10-07, 04:15 PM | Darn, it seems someone worked out my idea faster than me. Anyhow, here is the cheaty Kobold anyway: Ellywick Dilby Turen Manycheat Tiredviper, Adept 3 Str 15 Dex 16 Con 12 Int 14 Wis 14 Cha 8 HD:3 Hp: 13 AC:17 Equipment: Spiked Gauntlet, Studded Leather Armor, Rope(50ft), colored sand Skills: Profession (Barmaid)+8, Profession (Mudwrestler)+8, Profession (Cheater)+8 Use Rope+6 Feats: 1:Improved Unarmed Strike Flaw(Inattentive):Improved Grapple Flaw(Shaky):Earth's Embrace 3:Extra Spell(Color Spray) Spells: Lvl0-Touch of Fatigue*2, Create Water(For sadistic purposes ofcourse) Lvl1-Sleep, Color Spray, Cure Light Wounds Companion (Variant): Medium Viper (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/snake.htm) Her tactic primarily consists throwing sand in the eyes the magic way. Or if that doesn't work out properly, having the viper do its sneaking about and bite at ankles. Then bind a stunned opponent before starting to choke her. |
| dwarf_man02-11-07, 11:16 AM | THIS ROCKS!!! I haven't seen anything like this in a long time! I wish I could contribute, but at this moment I don't have time, but I will contribute later tonight!@! |
| zod02-11-07, 11:34 AM | The Great Khalina (WWE fans will recognize this...) Warforged Warrior 3 7'3", 420 lbs. Str 18 Dex 12 Con 18 Int 10 Wis 6 Cha 6 HP: 32 AC: 19 Init: -5 Attack: Slam+7 (1d4+6) Traits: Slow, Stout Flaws: Unreactive, Poor Reflexes Feats: Adamantine Body, Thick-Skinned, Thick-Skinned, Close-Quarters Fighting Skills: Profession (barmaid)-1, Profession (mud wrestler)-1, Speak Language (gibberish), Intimidate+4, Perform (squash jobber)+0 Equipment: Tights, Manager/Translator Daivara Notable qualities: DR 6/adamantine, AoO even against attackers with Improved Grapple/Grab, illiterate in Common "You will fear the Great Khalina! You will worship the Great Khalina!" - Daivara, manager The Great Khalina's main tactic is to stand there and allow her opponent's first attack to bounce off her 66" or so chest, or if a grapple fail miserably due to her sheer size. The Great Khalina will then proceed to punch, kick, and clothesline her opponent with an utter lack of skill, using only her natural size and heavy limbs to inflict damage. Finally, the Great Khalina will finish off her opponent with a mighty chop to the top of the head, followed by her victory routine of standing over the foe's unconscious body, raising her arms, and roaring as the crowd watches in awed (or underwhelmed) silence... :D |
| zod02-13-07, 04:45 PM | What, me is thread killer?! Tell me it isn't so! What, does no one want to challenge the Great Khalina? Bwaaaaah, the Great Khalina spits on you cowardly midgets! |
| Endarire02-13-07, 06:56 PM | What is a "Barkmaid?" That sounds like a druid build! -EE |
| krumthi02-13-07, 07:08 PM | Very Intresting, I haven;t looked at my thread today because I was busy with other things. The Great Khalina (WWE fans will recognize this...) Warforged Warrior 3 7'3", 420 lbs. Str 18 Dex 12 Con 18 Int 10 Wis 6 Cha 6 HP: 32 AC: 19 Init: -5 Attack: Slam+7 (1d4+6) Traits: Slow, Stout Flaws: Unreactive, Poor Reflexes Feats: Adamantine Body, Thick-Skinned, Thick-Skinned, Close-Quarters Fighting Skills: Profession (barmaid)-1, Profession (mud wrestler)-1, Speak Language (gibberish), Intimidate+4, Perform (squash jobber)+0 Equipment: Tights, Manager/Translator Daivara Notable qualities: DR 6/adamantine, AoO even against attackers with Improved Grapple/Grab, illiterate in Common "You will fear the Great Khalina! You will worship the Great Khalina!" - Daivara, manager Very intresting! I never thought about a warforged! hmm can you come up with one more for me her Rival maybe?? that will make things in the tavern so much better this week! I have a game coming up and I am going to use these two as the main event and the others as a prelude! |
| Endarire02-13-07, 11:19 PM | Be a nonpsionic thri-kreen. Your levels matter much less than your STR. (This version uses the nonpsionic thri-kreen from Monster Manual II.) Your STR will be 20 because of 18 + 2 racial. Your Jump check should be 44 (30 + 5 STR + 4 speed + 5 ranks.) With no running start, you can jump 5.5 feet straight up without rolling which increases to 6.75 if you take 10. If you manage to grab your enemy- which you should, considering how strong and large you are- you can do a super pile driver, Zangief style. (If you don't get the reference, don't fret.) Alternatively, make yourself an obese thri-kreen and take out your opponents via death from above. You could do falling damage if you're so heavy. Happy flattening! -EE |
| Iry02-14-07, 11:44 AM | That Thri-Kreen does get a single feat, which should be Leap of the Heavens. tee-hee, a fat thri-kreen. |
| zod02-14-07, 11:49 AM | Thorny Doomball, Warrior 3 Str 16, Dex 14, Con 16, Int 14, Wis 8, Cha 6 (formerly 16) HP: 26 AC: 21 Init: +2 Attack: Unarmed+6 (1d3+4), trip+7 Grapple: +10 (1d3+1d6+4) Traits: Reckless, Brawler Flaws: Shaky, Poor Reflexes Feats: Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple, Combat Expertise, Improved Trip Skills: Profession (barmaid)+5, Profession (mud wrestler)+0, Disguise+1, Intimidate+4, Craft (armorer)+8 Equipment: Razored great armor, heavy steel shield (both fused to body), longsword (unusable, fused to hip) Thorny was once a beauty among warforged, the flower of her batallion under her master the Archtrader of Avirval. During a normal day on guard duty, Thorny was struck in a freak accident by a lightning bolt from the tower of the Archtrader's wizard lieutenant. This nearly killed her, and fused her equipment to her metal carapace. Realizing how horribly disfigured the accident had left her, Thorny lost all her will to live and ran away from home. She was on the verge of rusting away in a dark alley when she was found by the monk Loradaus, who took pity on her and taught her to come to terms with her new body. Though she still lacks confidence in social interactions with strangers, she now embraces the unusual advantage her deformities afford her in combat and vents her perpetual anger at the world in barfight after barfight. Tactics: Rushing into close quarters with no regard for her own safety, she shoots immediately at the legs for a takedown. Once her opponent is prone on the ground, she will immediately go for a standing hold on one of their limbs, attempting to force a submission while keeping them at an offensive disadvantage (remember, -4 to attacks and grapple attempts while they are prone). |
