Please I need help on this BBEG.
Ok brief story: The PCs were hired by the town leader to find and exterminate the origin of the source that makes children disapear in the graveyard. So after some sessions of investigation they find that they will be turned into zombies by the BBEG, ocasionally a Human Necromancer. The party is composed by:
-Fighter Lvl 2
-Rogue Lvl 2
-Cleric of Torm Lvl 3
-Wizard Lvl 3
-Ranger Lvl 4
Both parties are warned and have time to prepare accordingly.
Which could be a very good build for the wizard that doesn't completly overpower the PCs and does he need minions if so how much and which ones?
Thanks, I'm posting this in the CharOp Boards for the build and in the What's a DM to Do? for miscelanious things like how could the enviroment and all else be.
Thanks again.

A little more info would be helpful. What level is the guy supposed to be? With that party, I'd guess 7th or so, but I dunno. Does he have to be a *human, necromancer specialized wizard*? What about a Dread Necromancer? Cleric? Tiefling? Elf?

Just some obvious stuff...he wants to make his undead in an area dedicated to his slimy god, no matter what. He'll do good with Corpsecrafter, from Libris Mortis, and maybe a feat or 2 that follow...Nimble Bones, maybe. If he summons undead as well, Augment Summoning. If he doesn't rebuke, Necromantic Presence and Might. (iirc, on that last one.) Animate Dead will give him a decent number of HD to work with, Spell Thesis: Animate Dead gives him 8 more HD...

Be careful, though. The rogue is gonna be way out of sorts, and any lower level characters are in serious danger.

Sick....but very nice. Caveat: only useful if the Necro in question does a bit of casting in combat, and has those metamagic feats that make it worthwhile.
