| Neo_Leviathan02-03-05, 12:39 AM | Ok, I'm looking at making two BBEG for the campaign I'm writing, the PCs will be meeting them at 1st lvl, but I have no idea what other lvls they'll meet at (so I dont know how far down the build I'll need to go). Basically, I'm looking at a Warmage/Druid/Mystic Theurge, and some kind of Rogue/Duelist type character (basically, I want good BaB, HP, AC, and some kind of sneak attack ability). Possibly Rogue base class, mix in some Duelist and invisible blade, and maybe one lvl of Monk for the Wis bonus to AC. Try to keep ideas to the core books, splat books (masters of the wild etc) and the complete books, as I have very limited access to anything outside them. |
| scrollreader02-03-05, 02:12 AM | Foluchan Lyrist for the First? Bard 1/Wizard 3/Druid 1/Divine Oracle 2/Foluchan Lyrist 10/Mystic Theurge 3 CL: 18 Wizard CL: 14 Druid BAB: +13 Esh. I'm no good at that sort of thing. I'll leave that to the pros. Ninja for the second. Gives you Wis to AC, and Sudden Strike works just as well when they're bluffed out of their dex mod as SA does. Ninja 5/Invisible Blade 5/Duelist 10 BAB +18, +6d6 SA(3d6 of which is Sudden Strike) +2d6 Precise Strike AC Monster. Wears no armor from Day 1. Parry. Elaborately. Alternately: Rogue 4/Ninja 1/Invisible Blade 5/Nightsong Enforcer 10 BAB +17, +10d6 SA(3d6 of which is Sudden Strike) Still Wis and Int to AC, though Int only once. But you can dual wield without worrying about Precise Strike, and Feinting as a free action should mean you get SA every round anyway. Uncanny Dodge and Evasion. Sneakier. Nice teamwork options. |
| Neo_Leviathan02-03-05, 08:10 AM | Hmm.. Maybe Rogue 5/Invisible Blade 5/Ninja of the Creascent Moon 10. that should be about 11d6 sneak attack, and 17 odd BaB... |

Sure, you'll have a great caster level but your wildshape and animal companion = inexistant or pathetic. If all you're interested in is caster level, i suggest one of the arcane/divine/ur-priest/mystic theurge builds. There's a million of them on these boards, and hopefully the search function will return to us one of these years and you'll be able to find it very easily :P (sorry, don't have any direct links). Again, my suggestion is to not use druid in the first build, since cleric would be much better suited, losing out only on turning. ~preacher~ |
