Boris Bearskin needs a better name! He comes from the region of Valenar in old Cyre. He grew up in a tribal village near the Mournlands. When he was almost at the age of adulthood, his village was attacked by Cyrean raiders, and the shifter's were forced to fight for themselves. They defeated the attackers after a full day of fighting, from sunrise to late dusk. When the elves finally arrived to aid the village, they suddenly became aware of the warrior potential of the shifters, and the lord, a powerful duskblade, took one as his apprentice to learn the elven ways of arcane battle. Boris was chosen because of his advanced intellect (by shifter standards) and youth, since he would be easier to train. I was planning to make him primarily a meleeer with spell casting power to enhance his abilities. I am considering taking 2 levels of Ranger to get Two-Weapon fighting, but I'm not sure what favored enemy to take at Ranger 1. 2 levels in fighter would be preferred for powergaining, but Ranger is still more flavorful, and one level is needed to qualify for weretouched master. I am also not sure if that would be worth giving up the extra spell for. Here are my decisions: [/list] I might also take 2 levels of fighter if my DM will allow it. How should I work those in? Would level 5 of Weretouched master even be worth it? Is there a feat that would allow me to shift into a dire bear if I took Weretouched Master 5? Maybe I shold just go Ranger/Fighter/Prestige classes?
