Shadow8472 06-22-05, 05:46 PM	Hey all, I'm looking to play a large creature that's there to just beat on ya and soak up damage. It's been suggested that I play a Goliath->Barbarian->War Hulk->Hulking Hurler. It has promise, but I dont know how the size adjustment deals with everything, nor do I know if I like the loss of ranks to all mental abilities. So, anyone with suggestions! Please do help me out here. I'm expecting a level adjustment and/or monster dice. But I'm not terribly interested in anything with an ECL greater than 5. I'll entertain any constructive suggestions. Thanks!

Thanks! Half-giant (+1LA) grappler? Not only will you soak damage, you'll also disable an opponent. Amusingly, you also qualify for warmind and pyro easily, because you're innately psionic. Grappler with flaming hands? Awesome. Of course, going with a spiked chain is never a bad choice either. And then there's warmind, and the awesome.
