So, if you look at the Water to Acid spell from stormwrack (p 124) you'll see that it has an instantaneous duration and that it specifically says that you can bottle it (flask it) and use it as a weapon just as you'd use acid purchased from the PHB (@ 10 gp per flask).

Since you can transmute one cubic foot per caster level, what's to stop you from oh, for instance at 7th level from making 7 cubic feet of water into acid? Now my math and assumption may be wrong here but here are my calculations:

flask of oil = 1 pint

seven cubic feet = 418.909089 pints

acid costs 10 gp/pint

over 4000 gp profit (lets say you buy flasks and pay some unskilled labor to do your packaging)

Feel free to disprove me, happy motoring...

That's a lot of work for 4000 gp. I would either use a bunch of unseen servants or invest in a few homonculi (that can later build items for me).

Water to Acid! Works great Silent/Stilled in a tavern setting.

Except if you've ever dealt with acids, you'll know nothing, especially not alcohol, will cover up the smell.

There's nothing stopping you from doing this. Well, except the laws of economics. Acid isn't really a commonly used item for most folks.
Adventurers, alchemists, arcane spellcasters... Probably a few others, but not a majority of the population.
So, if you could cast it... let's say 3 times a day, then you could make 1200 pints a day. How large do you think the demand is for Acid? Even in a large city, I doubt it's 1200 a day. Sure, you could keep selling it in other cities, but eventually, you'd run out of interested customers. You'd make a profit of 10-20 thousand gp in a few days, but you'd stuff up the local economy no end. Those who make acid for a living would be understandably upset, and they may take revenge against you. If you continued for any length of time, acid production would shut down in the entire region, and when you stopped, the supply would dry up, sending prices through the roof.
Those who could make it would earn huge amounts of money, possibly becoming truly wealthy, perhaps merchant nobility. If it was necessary for certain people, they would pay good money for it. If there was enough demand, small home-production industries would spring up, making a vial or two a week, and paying for that entire families meals, and then some.

In short, yes, you could do this easily, and make a respectable profit out of it. However, you would stuff up the economy, put people out of a job, restructure the social order, and basically wreak havoc with society.

So, possible? Yes. Profitable? Yes. Fun? Yes. Responsible? No.

If you want money, my friend, you want my patented process known as Cow to Salt.

Sandstorm has the 5th level spell Flesh to Salt. Its an instaneous spell.

Cows (also known as ox or oxen) are valued at 15 gold pieces each under the Trade Goods section of the PHB. Cows weight 1,000 to 1,500 .lbs, depending on breed.

Salt is valued at 5 gold pieces per .lb (also in the Trade Goods section of the PHB).

Each cow is worth 5,000 to 7,000 gold pieces in salt with a 15 gold piece investment, and it'll be a lot easier to sell compared to acid.

 All hail K for making bovines popular in a time without McDonald's. On a side note, you could preserve a lot of bodies with that much salt... :plotting:

McDonalds uses cows?

Anyway, as for the salt thing, you would get more money than that because I'm fairly certain that salt is denser than flesh, and, since the volume stays the same, that means you get more lbs. of salt than the original cow weighed.

Now then... can we stop showing just how abusable spellcasters with good bluff scores are?

Good Lord... I am liking this. *Evil Grin*
An Idea: Have a group of 5+ characters with good ranged weapons hiding in trees. Have two (or more) mages up there. When a group (A trade caravan, for example) comes by, hit the weakest-looking one near the front with a hail of arrows. Then, hit him with a Flesh to Salt. I don't have Sandstorm, but I'm assuming there's a save? Bodies wouldn't get saves.
Follow up with a Gust of Wind. The salt is blown back in the faces of those behind, blinding them, and they can be mopped up at your convenience.

Alternatively, make some potions/oils of Flesh to Salt, and carry round some handy-sized dead rodents in your pocket. Rip off a rodent, smash the vial on it, and throw. It turns to salt, agains, bliding your foes.

That's be a seriously nice spell... And, yeah, one body could be used to preserve the flesh of half a dozen others. Brilliant.

Okay, we should make a list of X to Y spells. See what nasty uses we can come up with.
Flesh to Salt (Sandstorm)
Water to Acid (Stormwrack)

I don't have time now, but more anyone?

Flesh to Stone. If someone orders a statue of themself, they can have it =P

Seriously, I don't know about anything else... Of course, there's always PaO.
