beating the litch [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-16-05, 10:59 AM I specialize in sneak attacking with Halfling rouges :D . But this time my friend is using a litch witch as most experienced players know are immune to sneak attacks :weep: . How do I beat him with the character that I am using :confused: ?

11-16-05, 11:17 AM A wand of Grave Strike will allow you to sneak attack undead.

Barring that, use the other talents at your disposal. Sleight of Hand away the lich's items while flanking her for the fighter. UMD to throw down some anti-undead spells. Tanglefoot bag her. Sneak off and find her phylactery.

11-16-05, 05:52 PM a litch is a derrogetory term for a female lich. it combines the term used to refer to a female dog and the term for an undead wizard. didnt you catch the play on words there?

Well if you take his tea, he is then a lich, and allot easier to kill than the slipper laden tea drinking grandma that is the litch!

11-16-05, 06:36 PM hm maybe sleight of hands her "l" and use your skills to offer her a capital "B". Hopefully she is trained in doing trip attacks so you actually got a chance to get laid. :D

11-16-05, 06:39 PM Silence yourself, and take one for the team by going toe to toe with the litch. Assuming silence is still an AE the litch it will have a hard time casting :) Just go full defensive and help the fighter with flanking as was mentioned before.

11-16-05, 08:52 PM UMD a wish scroll to be teleported to his phylactery(very risky, but perhaps your best bet at locating it). After you are done with it, take on the lich by UMDing a bunch of scrolls. I doubt actually going 1on1 in battle with him is your best course of action. The best way to defeat a spellcaster is still with another spellcaster.
