gawenka 03-08-06, 11:37 AM	In the Cheater of Mystra build one of the useful things for persistant spell (and the reason for taking divine disciple) was so the character would have the outsider subtype and be able to polymorph into an outsider (planetar was the example) 24hrs a day. Besides gaining an incredible bonus to N.A. and having your top three stats get modest gains, and the ability to fly it just bugs me that you can't assume the special qualities or non-offensive extraordinary special abilities. In the spell compendium at least they have the spell enhance wild shape so that druids can gain the extraordinary special abilities of their wild shape and there is also the master of many forms. Is there anything like this, a prestige class maybe?, that this build could use to somehow gain the special qualities of a planetar. I know id give up a few spellcasting levels for immunity to cold, acid, petrification, spell resistance 30 etc.
Prominence 03-08-06, 11:55 AM	Animal Domain -> Shapechange gives you some more. Obtainable from Contemplative 1. Not quite the same, but Saint template (obtainable) gives you most the qualities of a generic angel.
zlatko 03-08-06, 03:05 PM	You can oly polymorph(as per spell) into an outsider if you were one. That means either play an outsider char or become one througf level advancement/prc/ any other means. You can Shapechange (lvl9 spell) into pretty much anything. Or shapechnge with the shifter or similar prc. Edit: There are many cleric spells that give you outsider qualities like visage of deity; check the spell compendium
