Becoming immortal. [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-15-04, 06:09 PM Ok, let's list here how can PCs become immortal, not anymore subject to death by aging.
Means to reach immortality must be full legit, so no house rules or stuff like that: only things a DM could never refuse.
Easier to optimize and less expensive = better.
Right now I can think of:
1) Lichdom (big LA tradeoff, evil alignment)
2) Warforged (simply GREAT)
3) Steal Life spell from Book of Vile Darkness (too bad it's 3.0 and some DMs may not allow it).
4) Epic feats and spell seeds (3.0, epic and very expensive feat and experience wise).
5) Clone spell.

You get, literally, eternal druids. Who cares if he's a squirrel, if he's a venerable druid who lives forever?

It was errated to give them no maximum age.
