Ok I have come up with a build and was wondering what you guyes thought you could do to help. This character is going to be focusing on getting good diplomacy and social skills also focusing on his Illusion and Enchantment Beguiler spells and on Dagger fighting. So here it goes:

Half-Elf, Str-10, Dex-14, Con-12, Int-16, Wis-10, Cha-16
Beguiler-10/Invisible Blade-5/Master Thrower-5
Skills: Diplomacy, Bluff and other social skills
Feats: Point Blank Shot Precise Shot, Weapon Focus (Dagger), Far Shot,

What else do you think I should do?

It seems as though you lose out on far too much spellcasting for that to be worth it.

If you want to ditch the spellcasting I would recommend....

Swashbuckler 3/Fighter 2/Invisible Knife 5/Master thrower 5/Swashbuckler (again) 5

That being the most versitile and effective knifer I can come up with at the moment.

If you really like the spells...you are gunno lose out on a lot of knifing prowess. Buuuut. The daggerspell mage is worth a look I suppose. Overwhelm is a touch spell I think...that could do well.

I do like your build for knife fighting but lets see what I could do for spell casting as I have played a lot of roguish knife fighters.

Suggestions?

I would suggest Daggerspell Caster or whatever is the arcane thingy.

Spellcasting? Ok:
Beguiler 5/Mindbender 1/Beguiler +2/Shadowcraft Mage 5/XYZ 7
Race: Gnome
Feats: Heighten Spell, Mindsight (Lords of Madness - 6th), whatever else you want.

You've played knife fighters, play a straight caster.

Sorry, Complete Arcane. It's in there to delay your 7th level advanced learning so you can get a 4th level shadow spell and into Shadowcraft Mage @ 9th level.

See the beguiler handbook here:

Hey why is Mindsight such a big deal for helping the class?

It's not, really. It's just a great feat if you have telepathy, and serves to help your role as a scout.

K, well is there any really decent benifits other than the obivious (getting your own thrall) to taking more levels in the class?
EDIT: I mean Mindbender.

HELL no. Stay away. Lost caster levels are a bad thing. As for the last 7 levels of your build:
Shadow Adapt/Adept (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting)
More Beguiler
4 levels of Fatespinner

Those are about all I can think of.

K I will then, so far for a build I have this:
Half-Elf
Beguiler-14/Shadowcast Mage-5 (I okayed it with the DM that I could play a Shadowcast if I joined a cabal of Shadowcasters)/Mindbender-1 The only reason for this is because my DM is being a dick and won't let me do more than 3 classes.

But yeah thanks for your help ^^:):)!

EDIT: And the reason for the Half-Elf race is Roleplaying only so yeah.

The Shadowcraft Mage is from Races of Stone, and can only be entered by Gnomes. it exists so you can use your figment spells (Minor image, for example), as Shadow spells to gain more versatility. Half Elves can't get into it unless they take a few levels of Stoneblessed (or your DM allows them to) which would suck for a pure caster.

Just make sure you progress Beguiler 5/Mindbender 1/Beguiler +2/Shadowcraft Mage 5/Beguiler +7

K, but as I said my DM okayed it.

Oh! My bad! I missed that bit.

I also managed to dig up the Shadow Mage Hanbook. Take a look, as there's a beguiler based build in there:
