| TrackStar08-31-06, 09:28 PM | I have a lvl 3wiz/3druid/7geomancer/7Arcane Heirophant character. All focus is on intelligence(44 intelligence). I can have an animal companion familiar of a lvl 10 druid and wizard. And I shapshift as a level 10 druid. I want to turn myself into somthing that is very hard to hit but can still cast spells(natural spell feat) and have my animal grapple my enemies. What are my best options? |
| TrackStar09-01-06, 01:16 AM | Pleaassseeeee! :p |
| Part-Human209-01-06, 08:09 AM | At level 10 th Ankylosaurus, Cave (MiniHB) AC 24 (17 NA, -1 Size, -2 Dex) The Desmodu War Bat (MMII) has AC 23 but can fly so it might be better. |
| X-Codes09-01-06, 08:17 AM | Frankly, your animal sucks. No matter what it is it'll be about as effective at grappling as a level 20 wizard in an AMF. |
| TrackStar09-01-06, 03:04 PM | Really?? Neat! Now lets see you be positive about it! :) |
| prototype0009-01-06, 03:10 PM | Gosh golly, animal companions grapple as well as a high level wizard slicked in crisco, and thats more than a fact, thats a garuntee. Now ain't that swell? prototype00 |
| TrackStar09-01-06, 03:12 PM | That is quite interesting sir. Now lets answer the question that was asked. Which was which is the best animal for grappling purposes for a lvl 10 druid?? |
| prototype0009-01-06, 03:16 PM | Polar bear I guess. prototype00 |
| Optimator09-01-06, 05:18 PM | Try Here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=465005&page=1&pp=30) |
| Part-Human209-01-06, 07:29 PM | At level 10 th Ankylosaurus, Cave (MiniHB) AC 24 (17 NA, -1 Size, -2 Dex) The Desmodu War Bat (MMII) has AC 23 but can fly so it might be better. That's was for your Wild Shape form. I agree that the Polar Bear is the best grappling companion you're gonna get at 10th level. |
