OoX Sam I Am XoO 01-03-05, 12:38 AM	I'm making an 8th level cohort and trying to make the best archer possible, although other abilities would be nice too. I had 3 ideas in mind, first being the typical OoTB initiate, another being Kensai and exotic weapon master, and third being the divine metamagic cleric archer. What do you guys and girls think about this situation? Who's the best archer? Who has the most versatality? What are the best builds for each? I was thinking about the kensai one- 1 Ranger- Combat Expertise, Point Blank Shot 2 Ranger- Rapid Shot 3 Ranger- Exotic Weapon Prof- Greatbow 4 Fighter- Weapon Focus Greatbow 5 Fighter- Precise Shot 6 Kensai- Ancestral Relic 7 Exotic Weapon Master- (the one that makes ranged attacks not provoke AoO's) 8 Kensai- 9 Kensai- True Believer (Ehlonna) 10 Kensai- 11 Kensai- 12 Kensai- Improved Rapid Shot 13 Kensai- 14 Kensai- 15 Kensai- Greater Rapid Shot 16 Kensai- 17 OOTBI- 18 OOTBI- Improved Precise Shot 19 OOTBI- 20 OOTBI-
Mommy was an Orc 01-03-05, 01:17 AM	I like my Chameleon Zen Monk Archer for best archer title. here. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=356476) Major benefit is all the Wisdom synergy - Stunning fist DC, Unarmed Monk AC, chance to hit with an arrow, DC of cleric spells, Will Saves, and lots of bonus spells. (edit: for an applied build, i'd likely make the cleric level take Trickery as a domain and move the Human Paragon completely to the end - it isn't all that important in the scheme of things, but it gets you into Chameleon as fast as possible)
