I'm making a replacement PC (poor poor dispursed atoms of my Warforged Scout... the class not the race) for my buddies Eberron game. And I tossed to him the idea of letting me play a Windwright Captian (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20050803a&page=3) from Explorers Handbook. He's excited because he says it'll fit perfectly into the next chapter of his Campaign. Great. But the question is what base class is the better base for this PrC? Artificer or Bard are my first instincts but multiclassing Artificers seems to just knee cap them. I'm torn on this one so I seek sagelike advice fromt he CO boards.
