I have a sizable collection of books, but I haven't been able to buy everything I want so far. I'm looking at some more books, though, and I'm wondering if you guys recommend any of these for optimizing, along with what else you recommend.

Books I have:
Magic of Incarnum
Tome of Magic
Complete Psionic
Psionic Handbook
Spell Compendium
Complete Warrior

Books I'm thinking of:
Other completes
Dragon Magic
Eberron Books (let's face it, they're deliciously powerful)
Heroes of Horror
Libris Mortis

Are there any other ones I should think about? Thanks for any answers.

More specifically complete warrior & complete adventurer. Ya might want to wait for complete mage -- it looks promising (coming out in october).

The Completes are a must
Tome of Battle is also not on your list

And not for real optimization purposes, but for just being an awesome book...
PHB2

It also looks like you enjoy Psionics... if you do the Expanded Psionic Handbook will have all the 3.5 updates/nerfs you'll need to know for psionic builds.

I favor Races of Stone myself. There's a lot of good stuff in there, including Deflective Armor, Runesmith, Shadowcraft Mage and Deepwarden.

Also I found some sickeningly powerful rogue combos in Tome of Battle - Book of Nine Swords, scary, scary sneak attack damage and movement possiblities. (As well as some very nice feats for any combat oriented character). Also availible is the BoED and BoVD, not really great books per-se but they have some tidbits here and there of the most breakable material (Especialy BoED) won't go into it though.

Tome of Battle (great stuff for melee types, Gish)

Unapproachable East (Runescarred Berserker, Shou Disciple, Telflammar Shadowlord)

Races of Stone (Earth Dreamer, Iron Mind and other Psi stuff, DeepWarden)

Races of Stone (Earth Dreamer, Iron Mind and other Psi stuff, DeepWarden)Q.F.T. - though you should also add Goliath to the list of great things from RoS.

I also enjoy Complete Adventurer. Five Nations (Eberron) is also good.

I'd say Tome of Battle is officially essential to the easy creation of powerful meleers now. I mean, yes, a frenzied berserker is almost as good...but not quite, and nowhere near at high levels. If melee isn't your thing, I'd wait for Complete Mage, get Complete Adventurer, or get Complete Divine.

in order of importance from what they've suggested so far:
1) completes
2) tome of battle (maybe complete mage next month; time will tell)
3) races of stone
4) phb2

Almost all the content of XPH is available online (http://www.d20srd.org/) for free, and a lot of DMs don't play psionics: I don't recomend buying it, but it is an awesome book.

My bad guys, when I said psionics handbook I meant the XPH. Thanks for the suggestion on Tome of Battle though. I'll definately pick that one up.
