Because I should really be studying for a final, instead I'm going to take a break and ponder something useless to my future! Yay!

Ok As far as I've seen the best mele weapon is likely
+1 Dagger: Sizing, Morphing, Sure Striking, Metaline, Magebane

But Whats the best list to put on a bow?

Also has anyone ever seen ammunition (specifically arrows) with rules like the harpoon where the arrows stick into the person? Barbed arrows of sometype? Cause I was thinking that'd be nice to use with the exit wound ability causing the arrow to do its damage twice, once on the way in once on the way out.

Are there any cool arrow types people have seen? I remember in 2nd ed the elves had lots of different specialty arrows (i'm guessing something like that would be in races of the wild which i don't have)

Anyway I'd like to make a cool archer recuring villan and make him a cool airborn threat firing shafts of doom from above.

I'm going to scour my books for some cool abilities and ammo And compare my findings with anyone bored enough to reply to my post. =)

There are cool arrows in CD, I think they are called Raptor Arrows, but these arrows are Relicts!
They have the returning variant enchantment.

Would you allow this kind of returning enhancment on arrows?
Maybe an +2 enhancement?

Well, then it depends on what kind of enhancement you want/need!
As for bows, splitting or hunting is good.

And again a relict, Bow of the Wintermoon, it adjusts its pull automatically to match its wielders strenght, so if you have str 18 you get +4 on damage or str 22 you would get +6,...
Can this be added to a normal bow?

Hunting is only good if you are a Ranger, since it doubles your Favoured Enemy damage which is totally awesome! And it comes for the cheap price of only +1.

Cool ideas, hunting looks awsome but what and where is splitting?

Splitting is in Champions of Ruin. Page 42. +3 enhancement, projectiles with this property split into two projectiles, each requiring an attack roll. A +5 arrow thus becomes two +5 arrows in mid-flight.

If placed on a projectile weapon instead of its ammo, you need the precise shot feat to gain the benefit.
