can anyone help me out with the best buid for a powerfull virsital arcane caster?
here's some of what im looking for:
maximum access to veriety of spells so it looks like it should be based around the wizzard core class and no specializing
good spell progresion so no (or as little as possible) sciped caster levels in prcs
also please give advice for feet selection. i've alredy talked my dm into letting me take spellfire wielder (silly DM) as my first feat. i can basicly draw on any cannon material here (erreon, FR, coar)
i appreciate any advice. thanks

Pretty easy: Wiz5/Incantatrix10/Archmage5.

Possibly go MotAO instead of archmage, I personally love being able to have some degree of spontaneous casting with a wizard. Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil is another possible choice, but that won't get you all of Incantatrix and you do have to waste some feats.

Wizards don't really need too many feats, Twin Spell, Quicken Spell, Empower, maybe some Item Creation, spell penetrations, and Spell Mastery for those moments you're without your spellbook and you're pretty set.

im a little apprehencive about taking the incantrix pcr it seem like such a drain on versitility to have to give up an entire school... am i just being naive?
also any suggestions for ways to beef up dcs are appreciated

Mastery of Elements
Mastery of Shaping
Arcane Reach
Spell Power

I prefer Wizard 6/Incantatrix 10/Archmage 4. Frankly I don't think Archmage 5 is worthwile.

Also, make it an Elf Wizard and take the Otherworldly feat at level 1 along with the first elven sub level from Races of the Wild (not racial sub lv 5). Add in one +1 CL item and you can now shapechange into a Solar, complete with epic damage reduction, sickly high regeneration, and all.

Also, no. Giving up one school does not noticably reduce your versatility at all because of the few truly useful spells in the Evocation school. Contingency can be replicated with the Craft Contingent Spell feat, and any other spells you might want can easily be staffed in if you absolutely must have it. Other spells can also potentially be better at direct damage.
