| warrior-poet01-14-05, 02:17 PM | I don't have the book yet, but I am guessing a 2/Rogue X/Fighter build (using standard core classes) would be best--possibly with a level of Barbarian for additional movement and rage. Does anyone who has the book have a better take? I am seriously thinking about doing a tempest in the next campaign I participate in. |
| JRedGiant01-14-05, 02:35 PM | How about Scout 1/Ranger 2/Fighter 2/Dervish 10/Tempest 5....pick your order that you actually take these levels in. Two levels of ranger gets you TWF, Scout 1 gets you skills and 1d6 skirmish which synergizes with Dervish which synergizes with Tempest. |
| warrior-poet01-14-05, 02:38 PM | Where is Scout? Is it a Core Standard class? (PHB) or is it a Prestige class? |
| Aramil Liadon01-14-05, 03:05 PM | It's a new Core Class from CAdv Aramil |
| warrior-poet01-14-05, 03:08 PM | My DM is not too keen on the new Core classes--so what it a good build using the PHB classes? Also he generally is not up for Prestige multi-classing. |
| JRedGiant01-14-05, 03:21 PM | In that case, given your limitations from your DM, I'd suggest Fighter 2/Ranger6/Tempest5...finish however you like. |
| JRedGiant01-14-05, 03:22 PM | Oh, and take 1 level of ranger first for skills. |
