The only opinions I have are too much Archmage. I luv the thing but some on. Since 3.5, it's not as good.

For the shadow adept, The Archmage masteries are best used in spells that aren't their forte. (IE Evocations). Now not saying they're useless to you, but not that much of a priority. I recomend Arcane Reach, Shaping and that's it. Maybe Counterspelling

The Incantrix, why do you need Archmage when you should be doing most of what they do with Metamagic anyway? 1-2 lvls are fine but no need for all 5.

As for the DK Always Always ALWAYS go wizard 5 and get that free feat. DK is quite insane with it's feat reqs. Never turn down a free Metamagic feat.

Incantatrix is amazing. If allowed, every arcane caster should take it to 5th-level; after that, the extra metamagic feats and Improved Metamagic are good (as is being epic-ready), but there are possibly better options.

Shadow adept is a 1-level dip class. Nothing you get after the first level is worth the opportunity cost of giving up the other things you can get taking levels in other PrCs.

For archmage, there are two must-have high arcana, arcane reach and mastery of shaping. Arcane reach keeps you out of the line of fire, lets you use Dex to deliver touch spells without Weapon Finesse, and enables some amusing combos like using Chain Spell and arcane reach to buff a party with a touch range spell. Mastery of shaping enables the shaped antimagic field, which is alone good enough to justify it, but also allows you to cut holes in other high-level spells like mage's disjunction. There are two useful high arcana: spellpower and arcane reach a second time. The other high arcana don't do anything you want in comparison to their cost.

Fatespinner is an ok PrC; it's most powerful abilities center around using the reroll abilities to win iniatitive and kill your opponent before they kill you. Seal fate is of questionable value because of the loss of caster level.

Dweomerkeeper is the only PrC competitive with incantatrix; however, incantatrix is even more powerful because it doesn't cost a caster level (for the cleric level) and unless you abuse supernatural spell to cast spells with XP costs without paying the XP, the incantatrix's metamagic effect will win the day.

Wizard 5/Cleric 1/Incantatrix 4/Dweomerkeeper 10?

How about...

Wizard 5/Cleric 1/Incantatrix 4/Dweomerkeeper 10?

probably teh broken.

Just remember, don't cast a persistant shapechange, because you lose all your class features, from incantatrix and DwK :D

all other spells are great for metamagic effect+you can abuse of supernatural spell, and the mantle is just insane for a wizard...

No, you don't. You only lose those Su/Ex abilities not derived from class levels.

If you're looking to abuse dweomerkeeper, I think it's better to approach it from a divine caster perspective. There's a feat in the PGtF (I forget the name of it) that lets you cast a couple of cantrips as arcane spells. Take that and levels of Archivist (from the horror supplement). Eventually, you can take levels of DwK without having to lose caster levels anywhere. You won't have access to every arcane spell you're looking for, but most good ones show up on domain lists somewhere.

Seems like some good ideas, but the only reason I ever considered Fatespinner was because it does not require any feats to get into. To me it is just a 4 level class that I can easily take and get something minor in addition to increased caster level.

I was never, ever amazed by it.

You can usually do better than fatespinner; if you have the skill points and perhaps Able Learner, mindbender is quite the 1-level dip. If you intend to go dweomerkeeper, cloistered cleric (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/variantCharacterClasses.htm#clericVarian tCloisteredCleric) for the skill points and continuation of Knowledges.

Regarding incantatrix, the level 7 ability to be able to spontaneously apply a metamagic feat to any spell he casts without raising the spell's level once daily is quite handy, though if you get this far, you probably may as well continue through to level 10.

Nope. You lose your racial ex special qualities and your supernatural abilities. ALL of them. The spell description doesn't mention what you've said.

racial and class abilities are different

you keep your class abilities...
why do you think everyone knows that any class who can learn/cast that spell(druids, wizards, Sub-Cord, artificer) isn't underpowered

AND back to the OT:

1)Shadow Adept builds:
none are really optimized
go something like snow savants killer gnome
(maybe wiz 5/sha. adept1 / shadowcrafter 8 /shadowcraft mage 5/ XX1)

on a side note she did take harper mage for a reason(great skill list and points, easy entry, and useful abilities)

2) incanatratix builds
2a) wiz 5 / inc 10 /archmage 5 is good
i like wiz 5 / inc 10 / halruaan elder 5 better (from shining south)

3) DwK builds
3b)Wizard5/ Cleric1/ Dweomerkeeper10/ Archmage4 is ok
the divine Dweomerkeeper builds are much Better ie the cheater of mystra

or *GASP
wiz 5 / cleric 1/ incanatrix 10 / DK 4 (ALL incantatrix abilities and 1/day supernatural spell :D ) divine is still better...

I know it

you keep your class abilities...
no, you keep your class abilities that aren't supernatural abilities.

Shapechange
Transmutation
Level: Animal 9, Drd 9, Sor/Wiz 9
Components: V, S, F
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 10 min./level (D)
This spell functions like polymorph, except that it enables you to assume the form of any single nonunique creature (of any type) from Fine to Colossal size. The assumed form cannot have more than your caster level in Hit Dice (to a maximum of 25 HD). Unlike polymorph, this spell allows incorporeal or gaseous forms to be assumed.
You gain all extraordinary and supernatural abilities (both attacks and qualities) of the assumed form, but you lose your own supernatural abilities. You also gain the type of the new form in place of your own. The new form does not disorient you. Parts of your body or pieces of equipment that are separated from you do not revert to their original forms.
You can become just about anything you are familiar with. You can change form once each round as a free action. The change takes place either immediately before your regular action or immediately after it, but not during the action. If you use this spell to create a disguise, you get a +10 bonus on your Disguise check.
Focus: A jade circlet worth no less than 1,500 gp, which you must place on your head when casting the spell. (The focus melds into your new form when you change shape.)

Tell me where it say that you lose only your racial supernatural abilities, but not those derived from class levels, please.
