| nissir200004-03-05, 06:54 PM | Playing around with a character for a level 10 "evil" game. Using core, the complete books, and BOVD...How much casting bang for the buck can you get? With my very limited min max skills I came up with... Bard 5/fighter 1/UR Priest 2/MT 2 That comes out to Bard 7/UR Priest 4 not sure how much better I can do. Any advice? |

(though donīt have pre-reqs so canīt tell! wait a mo...) you can get in at 5th level... Bluff 6 ranks, Knowledge (arcana) 5 ranks, Knowledge (religion) 8 ranks, Knowledge (the planes) 5 ranks, Spellcraft 8 ranks. Wizard 4 covers all but the bluff. (I guess the level of bard?) How about Rogue 1, Barbarian 1, Wizard 3, Ur priest 2, Mystic Theurge 3 Wizard caster: 6 (3rd level) Ur Priest :5 (5th level) (and Iīd take practiced spellcaster for each! lol!!!) Plus loads of skills and sneak attack, and rage and fast movement! (or change fighter for anything giving fort save, fighter for feat, ranger for Favoured enemy!?) |

Go Wizard (or Sorc for Charisma synergy with Turn Undead/Divine Metamagic) and do Wizard 5/Mindbender 1/Ur-Priest 2/MT 8/ Full Progression Arcane PrC 4. At 10th you're an 8th level wizard and a 4th level Ur-Priest. That's the best spell progression I can come up with, and it gives you free telepathy at will (you can sub in Blood Mage instead, I think, since it's got progression at first and a strong fort save). |
