VXgas 11-16-06, 03:30 AM	Hello everybody, My news character is a Githzerai. I use Racial Class from Complete Psionic (p147) I must create this character at Racial Level 1 His abilities are : S:16 D:20 C:12 I:14 W:16 Ch:10 Very good abilities ! Githzerai is Naturally Psionic... I want to play a rogue style character (ninja?) cause there's no trap finder or trap disarmer in my party and i love sneak attack and the githzerai got a really amazing Dex, but i want to take advantage of is natural psionic (psion ? psychic warrior ?). There's already a Monk in the party... A second Monk ? At 2nd Racial Class level the githzerai take +2 Wisdom and +2 Dex... Advise me... Thanks
X-Codes 11-16-06, 03:46 AM	Psychic Rogue (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723b), eventually buy a Monk's Belt and keep a good Headband of Intellect around so you get access to all your powers. Also, at ECL 5 you should pick up the Githzerai Link feat. Much more handy than Psionic Daze.

GaffeR 11-16-06, 01:52 PM	How bout a Swordsage multiclass? Swordsage 12/Bloodclaw master 2/XYZ 6 (where XYZ is some mix of Fighter and Warblade and Bloodclaw). Check the following link for an example: http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=10624871 I don't remember the Gith's favored class, so you might have to be very careful about XP penalties.
progresslevel9 11-16-06, 02:25 PM	Why not some sort of Ninja? Lets you take advantage of the High Wisdom to the same effect as a monk, IIRC. otherwise, I second Swordsage levels, to at least some degree. Check out both the Shadow Hand discipline, and the Shadow Sun Ninja, which can function as a highly effective sneaky monk, with combat functionality to boot. But for trapfinding and the like, yeah, you'll need Rogue or Ninja. As such, and given your massive dex, I might recommend the feat from Complete adventurer which lets you apply your Dex instead of Int to search and disable checks. Might leave you tight on feats, but gives you at least a 3 point edge in that area.
