Best classes for Lycanthropes [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-20-05, 08:11 PM What, if any classes/prestiege classes are geared towards lycanthropes? And what builds are good for a general carnage lycanthrops, say a were-wolf. Thanks in advance.

12-20-05, 09:00 PM Thematically, there is the Black Blood Hunter from PGtF and perhaps the Silverstar from F&P. Don't know however if they are useful in an optimized build...

12-20-05, 09:47 PM My favorite would have to be barbarian-esque PrCs. So there's the frost rager (nice for rending 1-2 punch), the Frenzied Berzerker, the Totem Rager (see Magic of Incarnum), and probably one or two that I forgot.

I don't think the stats from Bear Warrior or Primeval will stack... if they did then those would be on the top of the list.

Totem rager is pretty cool, especially since it has 8/10 meldshaper progression and meshes nicely with a lycanthrope thematically. See the cobalt rage enhancement they get... if you don't have an orgasm just reading the description then... well you're probably normal. The point is, Totem Rager is sweet.
