Dear all
I have been looking around for an ultimate list of buffs for the divine caster. Was curious if you had any ideas?

There are lots. The spells you'll need will be dependent on a lot of things though, like domain access, party role, feat access, DM tolerance for cheese, etc.

Domains are luck, trickery, and celerity
I buff myself up and balance between going in for sneak attacks, and healing, and undoing gnasty mind control stuff, etc.
feat access is pretty open, and DM tolerance for cheese is pretty strong.

Are you using Divine Metamagic cheese? If so, which flavor? Quicken or Persistent? :P

with trickery and Celertiy:

PAO: on yourself....form(Kelvezu)

then make SURE you take Domain Spontaneity(Celerity).....that way you can cast Time Stop anytime you need to

also you can make Greater Blink Persistant, with Divine Metamagic

for regular buffs:

Greater Magic Weapon
Magic Vestaments(stacks with Bracers of Armor)

both have long durations

Righteous Might
Divine Favor
Divine Power

very useful for combat

Also, night sticks from Libris Mortis make DM: Persistant bearable.

any suggestions for cheese using persistent? 6 spell levels is an awful lot of juice?

There are some pretty straightforward buffs I could not live without.

Protection from evil, mass death ward, mass spell resistance, energy immunity, greater visage of the deity, rightous might,

personally , i prefer to always have Persistant Shapechange...when possible

then again for that...you need to have Ehlonna as a patron...usually i will play an Elf or 1/2 Elf ..maybe even Gnome for that

Personally I am fond of Divine Metamagic (Persistant) on Divine Favor for a 24 hour +6 luck bonus to attack and damage. Works with regular persistant too, but the Divine Metamagic way saves me a 7th level slot.

Where and what is Celerity? A domain?
