Best Dervish Build? [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-20-05, 02:15 PM I'm thinking something like Rog3 (for sneak attack)/Ranger 2(for TWF)/Fighter 2 (two free feats)/ Swashbuckler 3 (for weapon finesse and INt to damage)/Dervish x

I may only be starting at tenth and so would drop a level of Rog and take the first level of Dervish at tenth, then next level rogue for the extra sneak attack.

Any thoughts?

High Dex and Cha to give you probably the best and most abusable fighter in the game.

What makes this such a good fighter? +1d6 and +1 ac when dancing, dex to damage, extra feats. Are you using soldier of light to qualify for divine might through the turning? What else is soldier of light there for? Save bonus?

04-21-05, 01:39 AM it all depends on if you want skill points or not, or if you want feats or not or both.

This is good for elves with 1 flaw. Rogue used is from unearthed archana. It removes sneak attacks and replaces it with feats like a fighter.

1 Rogue : dodge, Combat expertice
2 Swashbuckler Weapon Finess
3 Swashbuckler Weapon Focus Scimitar
4 Fighter: Two weapon Fighting
5 Swashbuckler
6 Rogue mobility,mounted combat
7 Dervish
8 Dervish
9 Dervish Improved two weapon fighting
10 CC spin attack
11 CC
12 Dervish Greater two weapon fighting
13 Dervish
14 Dervish
15 Dervish Combat reflexes
16 Dervish
17 dervish
18 dervish
19 Rogue free feat
20 Rogue free feat

last 2 levels could be anything with synergy to the above feats. maybe duelist?

gets int and dex to damage. Gets 7 attacks. has nice feats like spin attack.

Bard 4 / (Alignment switch from NG to LG) Cleric 1 (with War domain, slashing weapon) / Monk 2 (Cobra-Strike Variant, Unearthed Arcana) / Paladin 2 / Marshal 1 (But this could be switched easily) / Dervish 10.

Snowflake Wardance, Divine Might, Divine Grace, Ascetic Mage, Charisma to Initiative. What's not to like?
