That aside, to answer your question: The (hopefully obvious) Ascetic Hunter in combination with Stunning Fist (chosen as a Monk Bonus feat) and Extra Stunning is hard to pass up. Any chance you can take to put one or more of your opponents out of combat is one worth taking, IMO. You didn't tell us your race, so I'll assume human unless I hear otherwise. On the Monk Side, I'd say Stunning Fist and Combat Reflexes. On the Ranger side, I think the TWF combat style is best for this character. Ranger1: *Whatever you want*, Track* Ranger1/Monk1: Stunning Fist* Ranger1/Monk2: Ascetic Hunter, Combat Reflexes* Ranger2/Monk2: Two Weapon Fighting* Ranger3/Monk2: Endurance* Ranger3/Monk3: Imp. Nat. Attack (If your DM allows it and if you'll be fighting Unarmed) or Ability Focus (Stunning Fist) Ranger4/Monk3 Ranger5/Monk3 Ranger5/Monk4: Extra Stunning I left the first level feat blank. You can choose whatever you want there, depending on your role in combat, your style of play, etc. And I'm sure there are many others on the boards who can give you a much better build than this. This is just what I can up with off the top of my head. Also, for ideas, check out the Library for Ranger and Monk tips and tactics. Best of luck |
