Must be from PHB, Complete Series or Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and Human race... yes, not much to work with, but what the best you can do enchanter wise?

-Straight Human lvl2 wizard with Improved Initiative and Tattoo Focus Enchantment, later on Greater Spell Focus Enchantment and Spell Focus Enchantment, but what else?

-Enchantment School Specialization? What 2 schools would you lose?

-What Familiar?

-28 point buy:?
Ability Scores:
Strength: 8
Dexterity: 13
Constitution: 15
Intelligence: 17
Wisdom: 10
Charisma: 8

Also, what would you suggest progression wise up to level 10 in terms of feats and multiclassing?(further if your up to it?) THANKS!

Typically, the best schools to lose are enchantment, necromancy, evocation, and illusion, approximately in that order.

I advise Improved Initiative for one of your feats as it allows you to make more slaves.

I would drop CON to 14 to make CHA 12. I hope you invest in Diplomacy!

How come the emphasis on diplomacy and charisma? I've never had that come up with a spell before and never heard of any spells needing it?

Your DM may require that charm person et al require convincing. If not, go with your original stats or make your INT 17. By the way, do not drop conjuration or transmutation!

Yea, I am thinking of dropping necromancy and illusion. I am not sure about the charisma thing but for now I will guess no.

How about feats beyond this point that would lend to improved Enchanting?

Obviously Spell Focus, Greater Spell Focus, ontop of the Tattoo Focus I allready have, but what else?

Be sure to check out the FRCS Shadow adept! They really nerfed it in Player's guide to Faerun, but as you don't have access to it, the older version kicks some major ass!

[Random rambling]FRCS was one of the cheesiest 3.0 books, you could easily make a Wizard that had an obscene save DC for his spells. Wizard 5/Red wizard 10/Archmage 3/Shadow adept 2 with Spell focus, Greater spell focus and Tattoo focus had a save DC of 27 + Int modifier + level of the spell for his specialist school! (Un?)Luckily they nerfed all the feats and prestige classes for 3.5...[/Random rambling]

You will live and die by your DCs. I would start middle aged or try to figure out how to get an 18 int. Also, charm spells require an opposed CHA DC check so you need some CHA. Beguiler may be nice as well

I had a thread on this topic a last week that can be found here:

Check out the master specialist prc in complete mage. It is very nice for enchanters.

As is shown in the thread, clerics also make really good enchanters.
