My rogue is 1st level and i want her to use 2 weapons to the best possible effect. Maybe throw in a buckler as well. What would be the best stack with skills weapons and feats as well as prc's

Here are my stats

Personally I like Invisible blade if you can allow the DM to change the pre-reqs to more fitting ones like WF and Weapon Finesse instead of the ranged feats. Tempest is good for TWF fighting but doesn't work well for sneak attack.

A pretty standard build is the Rogue 5/Invisible Blade 5/Master Thrower 5 (both from Complete Warrior). IB for the feint, and MT for 'palm throw' and 'weak spot', for loads of attacks and sneak attack damage. (although I believe sneak attack only applies to the first dagger when you use palm throw).

Another possible build is the Daggerspell Mage, which you can easily find if you dig through the first couple pages.

The prereqs printed in Complete Warrior are actually a typo. The class was originally 10 levels and incorporated ranged abilities as well, but it was shorted into a 5 level melee build, but they forgot to take out the corresponding feats.

The actual required feats are weapon focus and weapon finesse. I'm sure someone around here has the official link for that.

Some DMs will stick to the rules as written here, unprepared to cut some slack for the sake of sense because the class itself gives some powerful abilities (all attacks as sneak-attacks? That's enough to make some GMs shout 'broken' even though it could otherwise be done very easily with flanking and it limits you to using daggers).

True, it's not "official", but I know there is a post on the boards somewhere where the class designer himself states the changes that should be made, as well as gives a link to his 10-level version. That should be enough to convince most DM's.

My personal favourite is an arcane trickster, with blink/improved blink.

Since that automatically makes enemies flat footed, you can smack them about while twf to your hearts content while ripping them up with sneak attacks too.

Here's an old post from the PRC designer Kolja Liquette. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=2088434)

And here's his webpage which includes a revised 10 level progression for Invisible Blade. Just check under Prestige Classes. (http://www.wakinglands.com/htm_files/the_main_page.htm)

5th:
6th: Snow Tiger Berserker
9th: Improved Iniatitive,
12th: Extra Rage,

That should be enough to convince most DM's.

In my experience it's no better than 50/50. He may have designed it, but it's WotC's baby now. And though the current feats don't make sense, they so naturally lead into Master Thrower that you might want to take them even if you do use the house-rule I.Blade.

For TWF rogues, I'd recommend dipping into either Knight of the Middle Circle (S&F) or Justicar of Taiia (D&Dgods). Both give +2 insight bonus to attack vs. one opponent, cancelling out the TWF penalty. Both also give good will saves; KotMC gives blind-fight as bonus feat and +1 bab; JoT gives +1d6, free EWP and minor spellcasting.

If your DM lets you use Barbed Dagger (Cadv.) for invisible blade, that's good too, another +2 to damage is nice.

Complete warrior, in addition to IB, check out dervish, it can be gross, and works with daggers for the SA and dancing, the build

rogue5/InvisBlade5/Dervish10

simple, but should work
