Best mounted character [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-05, 06:21 PM I am wondering what the best mounted character i could make is. Right now i have been using fighter 12/cavalier 8, but i am sure that it could be better. ALl i really want is the best possible fighter from a mount.

Make sure you get "Devoted Tracker."

03-10-05, 09:03 PM Best fighter from a mount is probably Halfling Pal5/Ftr4/Outr3/Cav8. That way you can deadly charge over difficult terrain.

Or for ranged combat, straight scout. Mount moves half speed, make full attack with bow (gaining scout bonus D6's on each attack), mount finishes move.

Mounted characters are much easier in gestalt, but then, who isn't?
