I am building a wizard to be the primary arcane caster for the party. He will cast both offense and support spells. I want to choose feats that will increase his hit points, AC, saves, and initiative rolls. Here is my current list of possibilities:

improved initiative
danger sense
lightning reflexes
great fortitude
improved toughness

Improved initiative is worthwhile.

Perhaps Quick Reconnoiter. (CAdv)

I wouldnt worry about the rest of that list unless you need them for a PrC.

Improved toughness helps , but isn't nessesary. For noncasting feats, I'd suggest Point-blank shot for ray based spells. If you're worried about AC, either have Mage Armor prepaired every day, or take Still Spell and wear armor.

Improved Initiative is fine for getting the jump on an opponent, but you may want to reconsider it for a more useful feat or feat combo.

Such as? You can't just say "Oh, there are better choices", and then not tell us what those better choices are. It's cruel and unusual! Heh.

How about the feat Faerie Island Intiate from dragon magazine. You will have to look up which mag on the X to Y stats thread, but I think it is number 321. You use Int instead of Con for hit points at every level. A much better feat than Improved toughness. Also I would avoid all the feats you listed except improved iniative. How about just plain old magic item creation feats? Craft wonderous item can replace most of the feats you have listed. I think it would be easier to help you pick feats if you listed what sources you were allowed to use and if you posted a build. PrC pre-reqs will soak up some of your feats if you are going that way.
