Ok, this thread is all about the best in one category (i.e. best AC, best attack bonus, etc).

The rules are: 1. Only 20 levels of experience allowed.
2. If your build involves a stat consider it to have
consider it to be 18 at first level.
3. No epic items, even if they're within 20th level
gold value (760,000 gp).
4. You may use 3.0 or 3.5 rules, but must specify
which you are using.
5. You must give a detailed explanation of how/
why your build works.
6. Only Wizzos products allowed.

Having said that, I'll start things off.

(3.5)Most attacks in one round-16. Fighter10/Dervish10 with all TWF feats and two weapons of speed.

(3.5)Highest Strength-45. 19th Half-orc/half-minotaur(template from Dragon magazine) with all level points in Str, a +5 book, and a +6 belt. Orc gives +4 and half-minotaur gives +8 from size increase and has a base but I don't remember what it is ATM. Half-minotaur has a level adjustment of +1 btw.

(3.5)Highest damage from a single melee attack(using highest Str above)-548. Above build with fighter16/ranger1/weapon master2 with the favored enemy power attack feat from either Minis Handbook or CW (works like power attack except its 1.5x to damage with a one-handed and 3x with a two-handed), weapon specialization, a +5 scythe with 2 of the bursts and one elemental enchantment, using increased multiplyer ability (ups the crit multiplyer by +1), and a max damage critical (thats x5 on a crit) versus a favored enemy. So that's 57 (max power attack vs favored enemy) plus 12 (max damage from a Large scythe), plus 23 (45 Str with a two-handed weapon) times 5. That's 57+12+23x5=470. Add in two max damage bursts at 30 apiece (470+60=530), and the three elemental damages (remember burst weapons add in +1d6 as well) for another 18 and we have 530+18=548.

Now I know that those last two aren't 3.5 in the strictest sense, but since the qualities I've used wouldn't recieve changes by going to 3.5, I felt no need to mention them as 3.0. At worst, you would have to change levels of fighter for weapon master if the level that they get increased multiplyer changed.

If anyone else has other "ultimate" builds like those above (or if you can top what I've posted), please feel free to show your stuff.

Edit: Oh, and about my using Dragon magazine in my builds, I think of them as WotC due to the fact that material printed in their pages has been used in official Wizzos products, and any errata they print is considered official.

Feral (Str +4) Reptilian (Str +2) Anthropomorphic Elephant (Str +12) (2 HD, LA +5) (Str +3 from level points), +5 from a Tome, +6 from a Belt -> Str 18+4+2+12+3+5+6=50
Fire Giant with one class level (Str +20) (15 HD, LA +4) with Tome and Belt and +4 Str from levels -> Str 18+20+5+6+4=53

And there are plenty of other combos out there. Those are just off the top of my head. Use Savage Species, that gives a quick overview for a lot of races and templates.
