Why don't we have a thread for all of the most outlandish "optimizations" we can think of. Not necessarily characters, just the stupidest, most brazen quasi-legal twinkings you can think of. I've got two examples: 1) The Ur-Channeller/Thaumaturgist. Since he can sacrifice spells to gain higher level spells, and since there is no legal limit to the number of creatures you can channel at one time (if they have the "channel" ability, that is). All he has to do is summon two or three Throne Archons, channel them, and presto - you've got the spell lists of 3 14th level cleric casters to choose from in amping-up your high-level spells. 2) The Hulking Hurler/Cavalier fiasco. The Cavalier stis astride a "polymorphed" or "awakened" rock, which he has designated his mount, and which was enchanted with the "returning" ability. The Hurler then throws said rock as a full-round action with his (hurl ally) feat (he has monkey grip, after all), striking with whatever abilities you want to use (meteor splash, area effect, etc). And since the Cavalier can make a full attack at the end of a mounted charge... And since he's mounted on the rock... Four or five more attacks and WHIZ, back into the waiting hands of the Hurler. |

Something like, "Sultans of Super Smack: Most outrageously broken character thread" or "Characters your DM would never let you play, but are fun to see" or "Rules Wrenched to the Nth Characters" or "Post your Broken characters here" etc, etc. Here's my contribution: <Insert Mounted Combat Character Here> |
