| MetalGemini12-03-04, 05:53 PM | Hey all, One of my players really likes the Warpriest concept and PrC, so I'm trying to figure out the best build for it. He will take all 10 levels of Warpriest, so other PrCs would just be to finish off the last few levels. A good balance between spellcasting and melee combat prowess is best. So far, I've come up with four builds: Cleric 10/Warpriest 10 --- Caster level 15, BAB 17 Human Paragon 3/Cleric 4/Warpriest 10 --- Caster level 14, BAB 17, adaptive learning, bonus feat, +2 any ability Cleric 4/Fighter 2/Warpriest 10 --- Caster level 13, BAB 18, fighter bonus feats but low CL Paladin of Freedom 3/Cleric 4/Warpriest 10 --- Caster level 12, BAB 18, lowest CL but paladin abilities are nice. Any opinions on these or suggestions to make the best of the character? All WotC books are available (except Eberron and Dragon magazine). 32 point buy and starting at level 6. Race will likely be human or dwarf. Deity is open for suggestions too. Thanks in advance! |

He'll do a lot of healing b'c the druid doesn't memorize many healing spells. I'd prefer to stay away from templates if at all possible. |
| war child of the mourn12-03-04, 06:31 PM | consider the favoured soul core class frome Complete Divine you gain cleric spellcasting as a sorceror (ex. you only know select amount of spells but get many more and spell level is achieved at the level equal to double the spell level) your CL will be 15 still but your access to spells will be 7th level and a BAB of 17 but favoured sould gives you resistence to different elements and wings! so you got to ask yourself one thing what's cooler a warpriest running across the battle field fighting or a warpriest flying through the air and hurling offensive divine spells at his enemies and then diving in to give the final blow, i would go for the flying guy. but that is just my opinion. :fight!: |
| webgear6812-03-04, 07:26 PM | yeah that would be nice however you wouldn't have access to heal spell but i could be wrong and probably am fighter2 cleric4 warpreist10 and either 4 pious templar or you could replace knowledge (history) with knowledge religon and go contemplative for the existing spellcasting or even an adeptation of shining blade of heironeous |
