Best PrC for evil cleric??? [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-05, 02:01 AM I have been trying to come up with a kick butt cleric build for a level 27 evil cleric or Hades. Sadly I am drawing a major blank and figured to go with 24 levels in cleric and 3 in blackguard (purely for the save bonuses) because his charisma is 20.

Any suggestions for a lev 27 build for a human NE cleric of hades?

Tack on one level of Mystic Wanderer (MoF) for Cha to AC. Since you're likely to have funds, I'd recommend Picking up a Cloak of Charisma +6 for another +3 to AC and saves. Do you see this guy as grossly evil, or just pretty evil? Using the ELH?

EDIT: I second the Contemplative recommendation.

03-12-05, 02:46 AM Once you go epic, you can't beat 5 levels of Hierophant. Take Spell Power at every level for a total caster level 5 higher than your HD. Make sure you have the Evil domain, take the Improved Alignment-Based Spellcasting epic feat, and you can cast blasphemy at a caster level of your HD +8. Throw in a Prayer Bead of Karma and all those other goodies, and you can cause instant death to anything with similar HD to you.

Even if the enemy's HD is too high, you still have the whole Cleric spell-list so you're not exactly going to be stuck for a solution.
