Best template/base creature for an epic level Knight? [Archive] - Wizards Community

Level 42 campaign still, 20 levels are Knight hands down just for the fun HP/abilities, but I need either a race to make it to boost it's abilities or a good template and base creature to apply it to for that. Also, if there's left over levels from ECL, class suggestions are also welcome. Thanks~

11-24-06, 05:55 AM I'm thinking Planetar would be interesting. You'd have to negotiate with your DM for an LA to put on him, I'd say about +8 or +9. SR should scale with your class levels, so it should end up around 49 or 50. You also take no lethal damage from anything except evil weapons and spells, which is aided by your Protective Aura, and can really be anything thanks to Change Shape.

Frankly, you get all the toys that only DM's should have normally, and then some.
