Best tenth level build? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-30-05, 05:01 AM Hey everyone! Im playing in a FR campaign, and I cant for the life of me decide on a character. I was planning on playing a whisper gnome shade ninja. He had excellent saves, a good to hit, and a ton of skills, but all and all seemed very bleh... So, I was wondering what some of your favorite/best builds have been in the past, or present.

The campaign is like I said in FR, and has a standard point buy of 25. Most races are availible, as long as they can be adapted to FR. Ebberon, and non Wizards stuff is banned, but other than that it is a free for all!
So if anyone can help me get my ball rolling that would be great. Ive played just about everything, so a challenging character would be pretty cool.

P.S. I know this isnt very Optimization board material, but I would like the build to be optimized, which is why I put it here.

12-30-05, 05:25 AM there was a tenth level character creation challenge a while back that had some very good options. Im allmost positive it was saved as I remember seeing people bump it. I had two character used in the challenge. one was a warlock/shadowdancer that did very well. the other was a character that abused alter self and the malaugrym from moster of faerun. that was an overpowered build that honestly doesnt work with the erratta for MoF.

other options I looked at for entering that compitition was a divine minion/monk 1/Master of Many Forms 7/warshaper 1. divine minion can be found online just google it. its also in one of the faerun books that emphasized the egyptian gods but I dont remember which one. powerful build though. maybe not as powerful as the malaugrym abuse but still very good.
