Hey Guys and Gals,

A friend is putting together a WJ build, and is wondering what the good synergies are. Straight fighter seems like a waste, but barbarian levels seem suboptimal due to the Adamantine armor (ditto monk). Cha will be probably be a dump stat, so pally and bard are out. Artificer is a possibility, but he'd prefer full bab if possible because he's going to be the tank of the party. Level 9, 32 pts, and standard equipment for the level in case it matters.

Thanks,
Jason

It's been disabled for awhile now.

Nice build, I would swap Tactical Soldier 10 for Disciple of Dispater 10 though.

Hmm, yeah, which book is Disple of Dispater in, and why do you prefer it to the Tactical Soldier? I like the tactical soldier build, as smart fighters are always fun (as well as just running around and over things, so this should be a good combination), but I'd love to check out the disciple build.

Book of Vile Darkness. Make sure your GM would let that one swing since it's basically a cultist of one of the Lords of the Abyss.

That Disciple of Dispater is a really good prestige class, and fits perfectly for the Warforged. Excellent saves too. If I'm correct, with the Improved Critical feat, you could have a weapon (say, that 1d10/18-20 weapon from Eberron) that has a 9-20 critical range?

I'm playing a pure caster in our Eberron game so I haven't seen that weapon yet, but that would be better than the Falchion I was thinking of using for the build. Yeah, top end would be a 9-20 crit range, excellent saves, and the DoD gets Search and Disable Device on the skill list and 4+Int modifier for skills.

Dispater is a Lord of the 4th (I think) of the Nine Hells, but alignments allowed for the PrC are any evil.

Doomlord (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20040706a&page=3) could also work well with Warforged Juggernaut.

Hmm. Maybe I could ask the DM if he would be willing to keep the mechanics of the Disciple of DIspater prestige class, and change the patron deity...maybe to the Supreme Modron?

Zagmus, that looks like a fun build, but doesn't heavy armor carry a potential power failure chance? I haven't read the book in a bit, so maybe not (those come from somatic components right? ANd psions don't have those) but I was sure that they did suffer from that restriction. Hmm.

Psionic Powers do not suffer from Arcane Spell Failure %, so if you're proficient with the armor type, the only penalties are weight, max dex, armor check penalties to skills, and med/heavy armor speed.

if your DM will let you get away with changing the alignment of that class, go for it. as a DM, i might allow that prestige class, but I won't let you get the awesome broken power of it without bartering your soul in hell.
