Best way of optimizing a martial artist/spellcaster! [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-21-04, 11:51 PM So, of course I`ve been watching Naruto etc etc...:P

I was thinking about something... How to make a unarmed attack Psychic Warrior-ish type of guy without Psionic stuff?

Primary melee, secondary caster.

Spell focusing: self buffs (and looooooads of them... as many as possible anyways), and some cool offensive spells (like lighting effects which actually DO some damage, while looking flashy).

My first thought would be a Fighter4/Cleric1/Shou Disciple5/Sacred Fist10, with weapon spec: Ward Cestus, decent divine spells, 2d6 unarmed dmg, flurry, various feats and some decent offensive martial artist kinda stuffage.

Waddaya think?

Best way to improve this shizzle?:D

07-21-04, 11:55 PM here's a pretty good build which Fălenganor came up with Monk 7/ Ur-Priest 2/ Sacred Fist 10/ Shiba Protector 1

You get 17th level monk damage and 20th level cleric casting along with wisdom to ac, hit and damage, and the DC for your spells (IIRC)..I for one am going to try this build sometime..very interesting if I do say so myself

Cestus is a weapon, sacred fists cannot use weapons.
