Goblin Worg-rider character build
LE, NE only (CE disallowed due the fact that the alignment "doesn't play well with others")
5th level to start, 32pt build. (-2 Str +2 Dex -2Cha racial, favored: rogue)
Books: All WoTC except Stormwrack/Weapons of Legacy. Dragon issues only if it's *really* worth me trying to get a copy of it.

Build is going to be a mounted charger - mounted combat, ride-by-attack feats at 5. Spirited Charge would be nice but not required at 5th. Indifferent to class, just trying to get as high a BAB as I can and still maximize the worg's HD.

Cohort is out due to level, so stuck with trying to fit it in under a class ability. There looks like three main methods that can be used.

Familiar - Improved Familiar allows worg as a familiar.
Full BAB: Hexblade 4th, difficult otherwise without a PrC dip.
Average BAB: Battle Sorc
Pros: Imp Evasion, Share Spells, Player's BAB/Saves/Skill bonus, added AC
Cons: They suck. Half player's HP, doesn't increase HD, no extra feats/size increase. Not to mention the fun level loss if they bite it.

Animal Companion - Monstrous Animal Companion feat allows worg.
Full BAB: Ranger
Average BAB: Fey Bard, Druid
Pros: Fast HD growth, Share Spells, Added armor/str/dex, Evasion, latter Imp Evasion/Multi-attack
Cons: No Shared Saves, Worg is +4 companion, would need additional feat for Rng to qualify.

Special Mount - DM will possibly allow worg as paladin mount if I try really hard.
Full BAB: Paladin of Tyranny 5th
Pros: Imp Evasion, Share Spells, HD Progression, High AC bonus, Shared saving throws, eventually improved speed.
Cons: 2HRs per Pld level, can only summon once per day. Less possible HD/AC than animal companion

*Ranger would need a 1 level dip into Feat Rogue(UA) to get Nature's Bond to pull it off. Only light armor feat. Combat style is pretty wasted on a lance charger.
*Druid could take nature's bond and then dip Kishi Charger without HD progression penalties later on. Bad weapons until then. Armor options kinda suck but can be balanced with spell power. Low BAB though. Can use wild shape aspect rules to make it useful (well, after 8th level - +8 Str is kinda nice) for a mounted charger. Not sure how to get martial weapons (for lance) though.
*Hexblade's familiar is sub-optimal, but feasible. Not much tweaking to be done, but really a bad option in the long haul.
*Pld of Tyranny can do it if I can get the DM to bend the rules a bit, but I'd rather avoid that. Easy progression into Cav(CW)/Wild Plains Outrider(CAdv). Great armor/weapon options.

Any recommendations or tricks I have overlooked?

The best way to get an animal companion (ignoring all other strengths a class might have) is beastmaster. Paladin of Tyranny/Beastmaster with Devoted Tracker (I'm not 100% sure if that works) would get the best mount. Unfortunately, you're not a halfling or you could do the whole "supermount"-thing. Perhaps you DM will let you play a halfling outrider as "goblin worgrider".

Wow, I completely overlooked the added animal companion from beastmaster. Thanks!

Paladin of Tyranny - Beastmaster - "Goblin"(Halfling) Outrider

01 Pld - Mounted Combat
02 Pld - Divine Grace
03 Pld - Ride-By-Attack, Aura of Despair, Divine Health
04 Pld -
05 Pld -
06 Pld - Mounted Archery
07 Pld -
08 Pld -
09 Pld - Skill Focus: Handle Animal
10 Bst - Animal Companion, Wild Empathy
11 GO - AC Bonus, Ride Bonus, Mount
12 GO - Devoted Tracker
13 GO - Unbroken Charge
14 GO -
15 GO - Nature's Bond
16 GO -
17 GO -
18 GO - Spirited Charge, Full Mounted Attack
19 GO -
20 GO - Quick Turn

Pretty weak charger progression, but can't have everything. Nice mount though.

+18HD, +20AC, +9Str, +5Dex, 9Int, 14SR, Imp Evasion, Share Spells, Share Saves, Empathic Link, and Devotion. That's a really nice worg.
