My bard is a little strange because of how I have my levels.
I am a 8th level bard/1st level dragonsong lyrest/2nd level dragon deciple.
MY skills are concintration, diplomacy, escape artist, gather informtion, knowledge history, knowledge arcana, listen, preform sing(main), preform string(secondary), search, sense motive, spellcraft, spot, tumble, and use magic device.
My feats are improved intiative, dragonsong, doge, and negotiator and next level i plan on taking iron skin chant from Complete adventurer.
Also in case you were woundering the dragon im decipleing is the prismatic dragon from the epic level handbook.
Someone on this board has helped me with this char because we are in the same game I just can't remember his id so james if you read this tell me before friday what books you still need I don't remember what book I gave you last.

Sorry forgot to add that I'am working on othr things at the moment I am going more towards attack. I tend to use ranged melee attacks till I have a bit high hp so I will be going into melee in a few levels. Right now I start a battle off using the spell inspirational boost and and inspire courage then greater dragonsong (strength) then I use whirling blade or my bow and when needed I get into melee to help the druid. Well I got to go any help would be appreciated.

Snowflake Wardance I hear is a good feat for a high-Cha guy in melee, as is Divine Might (requires Soldier o Light).

Is Ironskin Chant really that useful? Spending a use of bardic music for a small amount of DR that lasts only one round seems a bit stupid to me, but maybe the book feat is different from the one in the preview?

Can anyone name a Bard song that last's one round?

Well, the excerpt says that's what Ironskin Chant does.

So the book's version is different?

Yeah, your right :cheer: , it does say "until the begining of the bards next turn"

I can understand putting a limitation on how long you can maintain this effect(like the countersong ability - it lasts up to one minute), though IMHO 1 round/song per day :thumbsdow - is not just nerfing, but frontallabodimy.

I need to relook at that in the book but I guess I'll take pwer attack then go for snow flake dancer which I was going to get at 15th level anyways and poer attack would help with the snowflake dancer feat as well.
