Hi all

About to go into a Gestalt campaign, and trying to pick a class combo that is fun, RP-viable whilst also being able to handle things. My first thought was Beguiler//Favoured Soul for some heavy combat-casting, but the multi-spellcasting dependency kinda sidetracked me away from it.

So i have been thinking - Binder // Incarnate. When I think of these two classes, they seem to both be 'backup' classes for gestalt, able to augment another class. However, I like the idea of it, think it has potential.

So: Would these two synergise well at all? Or would I be better of taking one of them with a more primary class, such as being a Binder//Warlock or Incarnate//Favoured Soul or somesuch?

You'd still have MAD for your vestige abilities and soulmelds that require saves.

High Con and Cha is all i see, whereas for the FS//Beguiler i need really high Cha and Int so that they can be 19 each by lvl 18

So thatd be like a 17 and an 18 needed. With this, its less restrictively high.

(can be boosted with items but i dont wanna lose tonnes if an item gets sundered, say)

On a similar theme, Todd (a CO regular) has a cool Binder/Incarnate PrC that acts uses Mystic Theurge-like game mechanics. Here it is:

.. over at the WotC Prestige Class forum.
