K, this is what I have as of right now.

I am a LN Elven artificer 5 / master alchemist 5 and have purchased a scroll of channel celestial greater, and a scroll of imprison posessor heightened to 6th level. Because possession and channelling are almost the same thing. Is it feesible to imprison a Solar within my characters body. my ability scores before this are:

STR 12
Dex 14
Con 10
INT 18
WIS 14
CHA 22(30 +6 cloak of charisma, +4 eagle's splendor)

Reason I want to do this is there are several fiends running around. I can make the knowledge religion check no problem. Knowledge Planes (17). I can get a cloak of charisma +6 pretty easily. making it now a 28. I have enhance item as well.

So the scroll is now a DC 10+10+6 scroll vs the Solars will save of +20. Which is a 22% chance of failing the save. or if i were to do this to a Planetar who has a will save of +15(55% chance of failing his saving throw)

Any Recommendations on how I can increase the Saving throw DC for this. I enjoy being able to use acidic fire as a wild man, but I need the ability to produce alot more.

I have to reccomend that you not do this. Theres just too much fluff involved that could cause intra-party strife, difficulty dealing with good-aligned churches, and divine wrath.

Channel Celestial is unfortunately range: touch, so you can persist it. The theoretically best you could do, pre-epic, is Extended Channel Celestial with heightened caster level (26 isn't unreasonable) for just under nine hours per casting.

Imprisoning a Celestial inside you is definitely going to have some severe repercussions and I'd advise against it too.

Hmm. Cool concept. My only objection is Mechanical. Channeling vs possesion.
If the dm rules it the same, boost your rolls, and go for it!
Sure, you will probably die, as the focus of a celestial manhint, but what a cool story!
Consider binding several lesser celestials inside of you, or try feinds. Bind enough feinds inside that skull of yours, and NO ONE, will want it crushed.
Good luck, madman...

I'd agree with the others that imprisoning a celestial against its will would have some severe reprecussions; but...

The act of channeling, either normally or through (Greater) Channel Celestial, requires the celestial to voluntarily agree to the procedure. Since celestials are probably the best judge of (good) character out there, expect your scheme to be seen through if its for nothing other than power and you're planning to trick the thing. (Hell, it can end the channeling as a free action if it suspects you're up to no good.)

I'd also assume that Imprison Possessor would work perfectly fine, since the text states that channeling counts as possession for those effects that block, inhibit, or otherwise affect possession.

If you can gain access to Faiths of Eberron, there's a feat in the back that seems tailor-made for this idea. The Lucid Channeling feat allows you to use the celestial's actual mental ability scores (instead of lower ones), read the celestial's thoughts (though it can read yours too), and share spells with it as if it was a familiar.

(Hell, it can end the channeling as a free action if it suspects you're up to no good.)Not if you daze it with a Blasphemy first. :P Just make sure you don't cast the spell from your home plane.

I think this sounds like a great character idea. Yes, it will have horrendous consequences... but it will be fun as hell roleplaying them out. :D

I could see either playing a horribly evil character and doing this with Celestials... or a really good character who binds fiends inside himself to protect others. (Diablo, anyone? :D )

Aren't there some alignment conflicts with the spells needed, though?

*nitpick* Eagle's Splendor and a Cloak of Charisma are both enhancement bonuses and therefore do not stack.

I agree that this would be extremely intriguing concept to roleplay. I'd stick with the Planetar just for the likelyhood of success. Good gaming.

That ending made my skin crawl, lol.

It would definately make for memorable times, but make sure your party doesn't kick you out for it.
