I started a neutral 1st level fighter/1st level Tiefling rogue in our ongoing Forgotten Realms campaign. I want this character to be a Black Flame Zealot (Forgotten Realms PrC.) Here is the build I have so far...

4th level Fighter/4th level Rogue/4th Level Cleric/8th level Black Flame Zealot.

1st level - 1 Fighter: Improved Initiative, Weapon Finesse
2nd level - 1 Rogue
3rd Level - 1 Cleric: Iron Will
4th Level - 2 Fighter: Two-weapon fighting
5th Level - 2 Rogue: Evasion
6th Level - 2 Cleric: Weapon Focus: Shortsword
7th Level - 3 Cleric
8th Level - 1 Black Flame Zealot
9th Level - 2 BFZ: Improved Two-weapon fighting
10th level - 3 BFZ
11th level - 4 BFZ
12th level - 5 BFZ: Blind-fighting
13th level - 6 BFZ
14th level - 7 BFZ
15th level - 8 BFZ: Greater Two-weapon fighting
16th level - 3 Fighter
17th level - 4 Fighter: Weapon Specialization: Shortsword
18th level - 4 Cleric: Feat(?)
19th level - 3 Rogue
20th level - 4 Rogue: Uncanny Dodge

Total BAB: +16
Total divine caster level: 8

Any suggestions are welcome, but there are some guidelines I would like to follow:
1. The character must remain neutral.
2. The character must be a tiefling
3. The character must have a BAB of +16 by 20th level.

FYI: The kukri is now a martial melee weapon in D&D 3.5, according to the Player's Handbook, so you no longer need to take it as a exotic weapon proficiency feat in order to qualify for BFZ.

You'd be better off with Fighter1/Swashbuckler3/Rogue4/Cleric4/BlackFlameZealot8. Int. to damage is better than weapon specialization, and swashbucklers get weapon finesse at level one, so you still have the same number of feats.

BTW, for those of us that don't have unnaproachable east (like myself), what are the requirements for the black flame zealot?

He looks to be getting pretty fair mileage feat-wise out of those Fighter levels (not unexpected), so swapping to Swashbuckler (which will ALSO induce an XP penalty, let's not forget) isn't exactly a great idea here. Unfortunately, I don't have UE with me at the moment (home for the holidays like so many others), so I can't really offer much help with this.

Black Flame Zealot has the following requirements:

Knowledge: Religion 8 ranks
Move Silently: 8 ranks
Hide: 8 ranks
Ability to cast 2nd level divine spells
+1d6 Sneak Attack

The BFZ also lists exotic weapon:kukri as a requirement, but this book was written before the 3.5 PHB was released. The 3.5 PHB states that a kukri is now a martial weapon, so this requirement no longer exists.

Fighter2/Swashbuckler3/Cleric3/Rogue4/Black Flame Zealot8
No exp penalties on this one (a tiefling's favored class is rogue right?). I think your gonna get more milage out of adding your int. mod. to damage than you will from weapon specialization.

Black Flame Zealot is a divine caster, so their spells are dependent on their wisdom. If I take swashbuckler, then I would have three ability scores that I need to pay attention to: dexterity, wisdom, and intelligence. That's spreading myself a little thin.

Perhaps there is a better feat I can take than weapon specialization.

If you don't want swashbuckler, your original build is fine, although you could go with something like
Fighter2/Ranger2/Cleric3/Rogue4/BlackFlameZealot8/PrCWithGoodBAB1
