Yes, yes, I know--the blade bravo isn't exactly a CO-tacular class. It lacks the pure awesome of other classes, but I like it. And I'm determined to make it not suck--or at least be humorous and passable. I rolled up a character who had 14 STR/16 DEX/14 CON/16 INT, so, of course, I just had to make a gnome.

Because gnomes are just that awesome.

Anyway, a preliminary build is as follows:

Swashbuckler 3/Rogue 7/Blade bravo 10.

(Swashbuckler for weapon finesse + insightful strike.)

The feat progression I was considering was:

1: Weapon Focus: Rapier.
3: Combat Expertise.
4: Weapon Finesse (free).
6: Combat Panache.
9: Titan Fighting.
10: Goad (free).
12: Deadly Precision.
13: Improved Disarm.
15: Improved Combat Expertise.
16: Improved Critical.
18: Einhander.
19: Mobility (free)? Improved feint? Improved Trip?

So...not terribly optimized, I know. Is there a way to make it better?

+6d6 sneak attack isn't super great, but I wanted this character to be more about fun and humorous combat tactics than awesome...but any help is appreciated.

Hmm, that titan fighting feat is awesome.

I misunderstood it on Crystalkeep. And I forgot: the game is a blend of 3.0/3.5--keen + improved critical, here we come! ;)

Search for "I may be small but you're dead!" in the optimization library.

There's lots of AC synergy to be had with the "little people" feats that make this a nice defensive, if not uber build.

Work my new favourite PrC - Dragon Devotee - into the killer gnome build for free casting of reduce person in armour.

Me.

The only thing that kind of irks me is that duelist would also work well for this character. And I can't have both, unfortunately.

It's "I may be tiny, but you're dead!" AKA the Other, Melee, Killer Gnome, as linked above.

Lol.

It did for my character idea--little armor, AC is mostly dodge bonuses--and with high INT and einhander, it would be okay.

And bracers of armor.
